Youre not familiar with Anonymous. The core members were arrested and also snitched on their other main hacktavist for a plea deal with less time to serve in prison. That was the real Anon years ago.

What real hacker in their right mind would join them now?

they have recently done nothing but post youtube videos declaring war on everything which they never do and false doomsday predictions..

It was taken over or subdued into and picked up by millenials who just likes to wear Faux mask and say their anonymous because it sounds cool.

Anonymous was a lot more credible when it was a collective of people with intelligence and hacking skills. Now it's amassed to many unaccountable skillless users living vicariously off the skills and integrity of its core. It's turning into a nameless twitter feed that's unverifiable, yet still accepted. They need to have a test of skill or integrity to really clean and prove their ranks.
Too much exploitation of work of others.

That's the difficult thing about them, they are completely decentralized, and can literally be anyone and everyone.

It's all we see day in and day out, for all we know, it's the guilty parties claiming these things to let some of the air out of the inflated angry parties.

It's a means to make an issue less than it really is.

When you say one side is bad and there is proof that will be disclosed, and nothing is disclosed, you've basically made the " bad " person look less like they are bad, because the burden of proof was lacking or never held up.

It just makes the party you wanted to accuse look more credible.

Not to mention, the very aspect of anonymous, goes against the concept of an organization capable of such tactics.

The only way a decentralized concept will work, is when all parties make money, hence while cryptocurrency will work but not a decentralized hacker force.

People need to understand that "Anonymous","Anon", "FBI Anon", "Anon Central" etc. is just a sensationalized moniker that can and IS used by ANYBODY.....A-N-Y-B-O-D-Y-----LEFT OR RIGHT to try and attach a "confirmed legitimacy" to whatever "leak" or "rumor" or "secret info" OR AGENDA that A-N-Y-B-O-D-Y wants to proliferate !

Anon factions have been going after each other for years...Recently, a small faction was trying to DDOS Wikileaks...while another was protecting and hitting the principles back.

Not sure which faction within the organization is the strongest, but the real top notch hackers are limited to very small numbers...and they hate each other.

Why threaten Trump like that? Are AnonCentral (or whoever it is) assuming he is the first politician to have links with mobsters and child traffickers ?

Over the last few years my respect for anonymous has fallen dramatically, I'm almost convinced now they are formed by some government agency

The twitter account used to send the message, @YourAnonCentral, is linked to previous communiques from the collective. It can't just be used by anybody. You have to have access to the account. These aren't hidden secrets. This is reiteration of existing information.
