I can't seem to find a reference to any of these agencies requesting biker "back-up" anywhere.

As for danger, the only people on ATS that I've seen calling for "blood in the streets" and for people "getting their teeth kicked in" is actually (and repeatedly) coming from Trump supporters. Yeah, I've seen a couple idiots from the left on youtube calling for violence, but I've seen far more calls for violence from Trump supporters here on ATS than from his detractors anywhere else.

So, from my perspective, we've got an unsolicited (and partisan) "vigilante security force" attending to intentionally place themselves between two sides of idiots who are both calling for violence. A true recipe for disaster.

Somehow, I just don't fear that the Pussyhat brigade will be attending looking to "kick in teeth", or calling for "blood in the streets", but with a name like that I'm sure a large group bikers out to assert their dominance won't be tempted to antagonize or bait them at all.

That protest is set for the day after the inauguration. We were told that there may be a few hundred of these bikers. I will make a thread about the Washington protest, with links to my photos.

Yes, the official Pussyhat protest will be the 21st; however, it's my understanding that many will be there for the entire weekend, and will be attending the inauguration/parade as well.

As for "a few hundred bikers", the official "Bikers for Trump" group has over 5000 already committed, and if I recall correctly the video SoulSurfer posted earlier mentioned space for up to 500 of these bikers to be riding in the actual parade itself.

I look forward to your upcoming thread, and please stay safe out there.

The protests have begun- small scale ones, as far as I know. Inauguration Day is probably going to be a huge mess. It should be interesting. They are posting recommendations from experienced protesters and I will follow those. Taking along a cane - after 20 hours on a bus, my back will be staging its own protest!

Man, I'm up in Wisconsin right now and ALL day we've been experiencing freezing rain. I wish I could get my bike out right now.

Huh.. a bunch of bikers from all over going to self-enforce protection for the President elect. What could possibly go wrong?

I agree, they are going to be there to help resolve problems, not to cause them. I look forward to observing the difference in coverage between alt-media/ citizen journalism & MSM 'fakerlism' on the day of the inauguration itself. I highly doubt the MSM will make any reference to the bikers unless there's a provocateur-initiated confrontation, in which case these bikers had best be aware that the most spin wins..! Don't let the MSM take away from the virtue in the mission initiative.

PS - RickyMouse - what the heck is that picture in your avatar? I confess, I've seen it for years, and always try to figure out what it is, but never quite can..!! I'm settled more or less on either:

1 - giant fungus which looks like a 'raccoon-tail' hat growing on a fencepost, or -
2 - napped leather 'raccoon-tail' hat arranged in a strange way on a fencepost.

Bikers for Trump founder Chris Cox said he had to negotiate with National Park Service officials to find space for the motorcyclists because anti-Trump groups had scooped up nearly every location for their “disruption” events surrounding the Jan. 20 inauguration.
