So I was watching the hearings today on Fox News and I saw the part where Rubio was asking questions. In my personal opinion Rubio should not be allowed to ask any questions. He is a Senator and he does have the rights, but he was also running for President at the same time and lost to Trump. Now the questions did need to be asked. However I sensed a lot of hostility from the election in Rubio's voice. That told me that he could not divest his personal grudge in a fair and unbiased approach to asking legitimate questions. I have also heard reports that the ethics committee is seeking to see if it is ethical for another one of Trump's pick (who I forget the name at the moment) who is also a sitting member to be allowed to vote for himself when no one is asking the question if people like Rubio who ran against Trump can ethical ask questions in a fair and unbiased approach to the situation? Especially the questions Rubio asked if Vlad Putin a War Criminal is a bit ridiculous since any country friend or foe engages in War is a War Criminal. Hell I remember hearing a report where the US bombed a Hospital that was supposedly housing terrorists even though bombing Hospitals is against the Geneva Conventions. Bombing a Neutral Zone like a Hospital makes Obama a War Criminal plain and simple.

If he does try and grill the Trump's cabinet picks....he should be well prepared to bring a lot of water with him.

Rubio the Rube went way past "questions" . It was obvious he was taunting and trying to provoke Tillerson on the Russian "War Crimes" issue. Upset Lil Marco to no end as Tillerson never lost his cool and kept stating he did not have enough information. Rex was not privy to it. The Rube was about to bust a blood vessel as he couldnt irritate a person with better moral character and a higher intellect that showed way more professionalism.
Tillerson made him look stupid

You do realize that Tillerson is considered to be much too chummy with Russia, specifically Putin, by both sides of the political aisle. In fact, he was personally awarded the "Order of Friendship" by Putin in 2013 for his energy sector business dealings.

The underlying concern is whether or not Tillerson has the strength of character to condemn Putin's military actions against civilians in the Ukraine and Syria.

So, yes, Rubio is well within his rights to question any and all of Trump's cabinet picks.

I don't agree that Rubio should be drilling any candidates chosen by the president elect, he is a sore loser after all and we all know that.

He is bound on revenge and will use the questioning as a personal vendetta, interestingly we will see him for what he is a petty child.

He's still a US Senator. His salary & the perks of his office are being paid by taxpayers for the sole purpose of him doing his job. So yes he needs to be doing his job here, too. Ted Cruz and Rand Paul are also sitting US Senators, and they also ran against Trump this election season. Should they also be barred from doing their jobs as Senators?

Besides, Trump's pissed off a lot of people in the House and Senate, including "fellow" Republicans Senator John McCain and Senator Lindsey Graham. Maybe if he wasn't so combative, they wouldn't be pushing back against him now.
