I don't think this is an ATS conspiracy to get rid of Bush supporters (like both of us ), there has been a marked increase in antisemitic neo-nazi threads such as Why do the Jews get so much sympathy?.

Actually, that's not true. They don't have the right to be racist on this site unless this site allows it. I hope this site continues to allow it to show the ignorance of mass-generalizing, but it is a privately owned website. It is not required to have any freedom of speach rules (also, it's based outta the UK). They can censor anything they want.

most neo nazis don't even know where the symbol originated...just shows their gullability(sp?) . anyone who has a link on the origan of the swastika..please post. maybe it'll make the ignorant youth think!

There are already several threads with this link, and a simple search will help out.

The original swastika looked quite a bit different than the one Hitler adopted, and the person who was trying to defend the origins of the swastika had Hitler's, not the original.

EDIT: I enjoyed Red Sonja, and own the DVD. Nice avatar! though I severely disagree with many of your opinions, that's one I can appreciate!

I haven't been here much in the past few weeks, so I must admit I'm pretty appalled this has happened. Congrats to the Mods and Super Mods for stopping this now.

I did see that DrRobertCamp guy... which brings me to another point. These Neo Nazis probably know that this board experiences the occasional (or more frequet) Muslim-bashing thread. I think they see it as a perfect venue to voice their prejudice and recruit.

I don't know why we're into the fourth page discussing this and creating a dangerous mob mentality.

If they post their hatred then you delete it and ban them, If they contact members then they should delete it. They will go away if you don't talk to them or bait them.

Chances are "one of them" (and "them" is a pretty vague term) will come along and cause a ruckus in a post. If you throw it up in the air like this then they're going to attract all their little friends who can cause a whole new meaning of hell.

They're not linear thinkers, they're not around just to get members, they'll cause trouble if they feel like it too. Now all we have to do is deny them a platform by ignoring them completely.

Wow. Insightful and diplomatic, at the same time. That is an excellent point, and one many members should think about. Are some of the discussions here perhaps what led them to believe this site would be a good target in the first place?

And... I have to pre-emptively say this... I think it's important not to confuse american conservatives with 'hatemongering' racists. To be frank, I see a lot of talk about 'hate' and 'ignorance' from people who are, themselves, filled with bitter anger on this board and in real life all the time. OIMD...remember when I handled my disatisfaction with what another member was doing (f.g., right?). Remember how it set up a whole series of events including you getting all pissed off at me, you getting other people pissed of at me, me causing a big scene on the board by causing a kind of "mass migration" toward criticism about f.g., you and me being pissed off at each other for months...etc? Remember the months of aggravation?

Well, the mods just did the same damned thing I did then. So, in answer to your question, who the heck knows what statements, or whose statements will be deemed "unacceptable" under the new McCarthyism of ATS.

I'm thinking you may have a different "darker" day...but for me, this has been the darkest day in ATS history. Immaturity is the moderation of ATS for today.

Nerd, I'm really disappointed to read that you're an advocate for censorship. As long as we're aware this foolishness exists, we can counteract it. As soon as we force it underground by deleting anything blatantly racist/anti-semetic, it will force them underground. I, personally, suspect psychogirl to be one of them. Yet, she hasn't come out and been racist, but rather has just been making talking points to make you question your unbigoted mentality. That, in my opinion, is a lot more effective at turning people. Most young people this generation have anti-racisim/anti-bigorty as one of their core values. Someone coming flat out and saying all Jews should be killed or something turns so many people off. On the other hand, people reintroducing the swastika under pretense that it's a good luck charm (though the original charm looked vastly different than the one the person was trying to defend) is the first step to getting people to accept Nazi society. Heck, they convinced WorldWatcher to back up that cause, and she's one of the coolest and most open minded/stable people on this board.

I plead with the mods not to allow this censorship to happen. It's within your right to do so, but this is a website to deny ignorance. In order to deny ignorance, we need to know the side of the ignorant. The fools that believe God's chosen people are the root cause of all evil are the ignorant. Let them show how foolish their ideas are.


In a comment to the person who said ATS has periods of anti-muslim sentiment, I want to say this. I've been to this website for quite a while, and have noticed more people tend to side with the palistinian terrorists than the Israeli people. You have one group targeting children, and another targeting militants. As an example, there's a thread somewhere on here FREAKING out about israelis killing, accidently, a palestinian child. Yet, when that sick # who hit the school bus with a suicide bomb, none of the people I've seen freaking out about Isreal commented about that at all. They were ok with Jewish kids being targeted, but it's unacceptable for a non-Jew child to be killed accidently.

No, this website has been leaning towards antisemetic since I started coming here. The Neo-Nazis probably simply saw this as an opportunity to expand on a continuing trend.

Last time this happened, I left ATS for a while. I have no intention of running this time. I'm planning on staying and fighting these antisemites, showing the extreme weakness of their case. If you censor them, I and others like myself will not be able to point out the error in their ways.

How many nations survived using censorship before an underground movement ended up taking them over?

I'm about as open and liberal as they come on ATS Junglejake. I don't advocate censorship but the best way to ignore a grandstanding troublemaker is to turn the other cheek.

In this case, with these known events, we're not really engaged in "censorship" if we deny these new members access to ATS. We have witnessed the planning, and execution of a planned event to send representatives to this board for the purposes of spreading hate-think and potentially recruit new members for their cerebral poison. This is indeed very much against our terms and conditions. We will take action against such a planned incursion of our community. We can certainly allow and encourage a sober and intelligent discussion of the actual issues that are at the center of the so-called "white pride" cause... however, our experience has shown it's rarely possible in actual practice. There are few topics we disallow, instead focusing more on manners and attitude of community members. However, experience has shown us that some topics tend to attract those with a high degree of intolerance and hateful attitude. So... kicking these particular agents from a hate website is not censorship, since their goal is not sober discussion.

How does this line up with your earlier posts?

A war with Iran will "free up" America's fascist army to finally fulfill prophecy and initiate the "final solution" of the "muslim question". This is a GOOD thing, because the only way your going to deal with the "muslim nation" is to squash them like cockroaches and show them true meaning of "shock and awe". You know Iran thinks its got "big balls" by claiming they can withstand an American attack, however I found this as hillarious as the rantings of "Baghdad Bob". Their eyes will be blinded and their ears deafened by our power.

I think we should stop "butt-kissing" muslims and tell them that this America and if you dont like it then get the "heck" out. Muslims should just stay in the Middle East, because I get the feeling that they will never "integrate" into modern society. One can just look at what's happening in France to see where I'm coming from.

When will Europe give America the "respect" it deserves?
When will Europe say "thank you" America for "rescuing" us from "ourselves" in World War 2?
When will Europe finally face the hard truth that "communism" and "socialism" was an empty promise and they must finally get off their lazy butts and actually "work" at a "job" to earn "money"?
