This one I have to pass . i'm not that great in satirical writing because I'm a joke myself. But I will read them if I have the time because I love to laugh and watch comedy.. Have fun out there..

Satire doesn't have to be strictly comedy, it can be exaggeration, ridicule or irony. A combination of the last three can, sometimes by default, give you comedy.

It really should be some form of constructive social commentary in its formulation, wherever it takes you after is the fun part.

Does it have to be an actual historic person, or can it be someone fictional some people think is real?

Well, in that case, knock yourself out Peeps. I would love to hear about that mythical cigar-smoking fat guy who allegedly saved Britain from Zee Germans.

JANUARY SHORT STORY CONTEST - "THE SATIRICAL TIME TRAVELLER" [STT2017]

A period of ONE WEEK after the closing of the contest will be provided for voting, and winners will be announced shortly thereafter.

Scoring

Flags will be worth 2 points each.
Stars will be worth 1 point each.
*Stars for subsequent posts (i.e. additions to the story after the initial story post) will be worth .5 stars.

Just a quick question, is the voting a different thing from the scoring? Or is giving a star/flag the same as a vote?

Sumerian king list, and the flood, i believe in a royal decree.

I loved the story! If it was yours or a plagiarism didnt really matter, i felt something in it and with it.
