Actually according to Geneva conventions it IS terrorism. They are a non uniformed force and are not recognized as a professional army. AKA illegal combatants. And their actions terrorize the general populace. IE terrorism.


They would be more akin to irregular forces in the Palestine/Israeli conflict.

Wrong. they would not be. Its a specific definition and they fit Illegal combatant.
