Chicago Police: 4 in custody after man tied up, tortured on Facebook Live

Hoax or not I can't figure out who this is supposed to benefit other than those who love the idea of a police state. Because that is exactly what will happen by doing this stuff.

Also, fake or not you can expect a hard reaction and retaliation from Law enforcement in Chicago for this which has already been building for a while now.

This was a really stupid idea and heads will soon roll for this.

Police Chief sounds very upset.
The other guy keeps calling them kids...while admitting the four were 18.

What I find hard to believe it some of the people watching the live stream telling them what they were doing was wrong and not calling the police! That poor tortured young man was found on the street. I watched the whole 28min + video, expecting someone to enter and break up their 'party'! This is so shocking on so many levels. The close up of his scalp injury was horrifying and them using that open wound as an ashtray was disgusting! These four individuals do need to go to prison!

Apparently this is a new-fangled game show called RETARDED or SOCIOPATHIC: YOU DECIDE!

I'm not exactly a Trump fan, but I wouldn't mind seeing him make one of his famous tweets declaring this to be a hate crime.

It sounds like the officer is downplaying the hate crime aspect, saying these are very young adults. Like maybe they didn't believe all the hateful, racist things they said.

I can't see any circumstance or wiggle room for this Not to be charged as a Hate Crime.

That poor guy. Too traumatized to talk about it. At least he got out of it alive. They should get the maximum sentence allowable.
I would feel the same way as i'm sure others would, if it was 4 whites kidnapping a black guy.
