I'm sure that most of you on FB have seen spam saying something like

"I can't believe this works. I can see who's been looking at my profile."

Of course, none of those are what they seem to be but this trick
might actually work.

When I tried it only two profiles popped up and they are unknown to me.
I would have expected to see some friends of friends or someone from
from the suggested friends list appear.

Maybe I'm too boring to spy on or maybe I'm the only freak on FB
to ever look at a strangers profile. I hope the later is not the case
or I'm going to be really embarrassed once everyone finds out.

I'm curious to know what results other members have with this so
give it a try and report back if you so desire.

The site gives step by step instructions that work on your normal
FB settings window so there is no danger of mal-anything.

OK, this is creepy. I followed the directions. I clicked on one of the random profiles that popped up. Someone was posting on her page to stop stalking them. That it was illegal. That person posted that on different dates. She posted things before and after. I wondered why she hadn't removed the posts.

Then I went back to the list and clicked block next to her name. I got a pop up saying 'this profile can't be blocked now'

I went through the list one by one and wasn't able to block any of them.

Ok that was totally misleading.

I thought I'd get to see who looks at my FB but that's not what this actually is.

I got like 15!

Didn't recognize any of the names though.

ETA: Ah, I see...they use the nickname 'Facebook Security.' I don't think this method does what it claims it does.

I could not block my two either. Are all seven strangers to you?

I agree that it is creepy. The profiles of mine have nothing but
scripture on them and their employers pages seem like fictions.

That's what I expected too but what I got are two fake looking profiles
that I cannot block.
Did you get zero hits, like Schuyler? Make sure to capitalize the F and the S.

That could be the answer. A wireless router called FBI Van # 3 has been outside my house for years. You can imagine my distress when it first showed up.

I've seen plenty of wifi routers called "FBI security van" in my city in several places I've lived.

I'll give this a try, but I'm not interesting enough to stalk.

ETA: I had 4 on my list and was able to block 3 of them, and yeah their profiles has all sorts of BS comments

I only had one person, she listed her profession as "Facebook Security", and she has 3 mutual friends. She has pictures of my friend's kids on her wall, and after talking with my friend, it seems she's a real person.
I haven't commented on a thread in months, but I thought I'd report that for you guys.

I don't know what to think. That's why I brought it here.
It definitely does not show who might be creeping
on my bathroom selfies, thank god.

I know it seems like a scam, but I don't understand why they can 't be blocked. Any Ideas?

I think that is the 100 dollar question. I also find it odd that when I look at the profiles, of the two on my list, I see people raging at these folks for spying but no response from them at all.

I had seven people on mine. Clicked each profile, and each had at least one or two common friends. Real profiles, real people known by friends of mine......so it seemed like it sorta worked for me.
