So I knew I had HIV for a long time, and my CD4 count was down.
I couldn't speak, I couldn't eat, I couldn't do anything.
My viral load was in the thousands.
Luckily they saved me with one antibiotic.
I had to chew it, I couldn't even swallow.
Then they said it's time - start your medication.
Last year, oh it was so terrible.
The first doses make you trip - and not in a nice way.
But then my CD4 count went from 300 to 750 (normal range)!
The virus became invisible.
Now people are asking me if I'm body-building.
Working out a bit, yeah.
Just keeping fit though.
