Christmas Day 2016.

We found one pub still open, but all we got is crisps.

They had a buffet, but you had to order weeks in advance.

We didn't, so our Christmas lunch was wine and a packet of crisps.

After posting that yesterday, i debated my Girlfriend about the proper terminology. I naturally assumed "Hear, Hear" was proper on account of the context.
Example- someone says something you agree with, you respond "Hear, Hear". As an acknowledgement that you "hear" what theyre saying, and its said twice meaning, say it again! So youre acknowledging a statement, and seconding at the same time. That was JMO at least.

Anyway thanks everybody, had a good one last night.
The morning started with sweltering heat, and now we got a hurricane-force wind.
But that's Cape Town - four seasons in one day!
The power was off most of the day.
I can finally check how much I embarrassed myself last night.
Not too bad, and the mods did the rest (thank you).
