Stealth archery must be an important skill in skyrim.

Why not just make a race of stealth archers?

They did, 9 of them. The Thalmor are therefore clearly genetically inferior in this regard.

Stealth archery is pretty much "easy mode" for Skyrim. Everyone starts their character off by stealth archery until they gain some stamina and magika by leveling. Then they start using magic or melee weapons. It's a great game, I highly recommend it.

Edit: also, stealth and archery are the easiest skills to level and work really well together.

The Thalmor are basically the British Monarchy, rather than them being reptillian, they are stuck up Elves.
