Well, you have to pick a year that is close, but not too close.

Anything within 1 to 3 years from present and you just dont get the longevity out of the doom and gloom.

Too far out. Like 8 to 15 years and you dont have that sense of immediate doom to help fuel the fear of the reader.

So 4 to 6 years is about the sweet spot. So in 2023 they will be picking a new year, maybe stretch it to the edge and pick 2030, nice round number.

Anyway, heres to the next five years of impending doom as 2022 approaches. I, personally, really enjoyed the last three end of the worlds and I'm sure this one will be great too.
