Or, you're just wrong. I hear this one a lot. Oh, you're just not one of the cognoscenti.

There's a lot more likelihood that your supposition is fallacious. Try that on.

There's so much fail in the OP I don't know where to start.

1) Nice anecdote

2) Being a relative of a Mason doesn't make you an expert in Freemasonry.

Unfortunately for the onion theory to work , the leader of a lodge would have to be a member, of a deeper structure.

And here is why your theory completely breaks down. The 'leader' of the lodge gets a one year term, I was Master and then someone else took my place and someone else after him, and so it goes.

I didn't know you can become a Master
did you make everyone call you Master? I would have. Did you ever have to make a brew or can you order the lesser members about? did you have a special hat or robe when master? and were you able to use the Mason secret service to off unruly members or opponents?.

Don't be stupid, baby biceps, of course I did.

You know, I too, am a master mason, I am royal arch and cryptic council. This spring, I am petitioning to join the templers.

The thing is, the OP and others really don't understand masonry. Lodges are open to visit anytime other than meetings. Go to a chicken bbq, or a pancake breakfast and meet people...se what it is really about.

Truth is, the net is full of crazy wild and untrue ideas about us that it is funnier than all get out.

Happy New Year, may you find truth in your world.

First, don your armor and grab your sword. Next, swim the English Channel. After that, we will let you join.

A crazy lunatic who thinks he's a perpetual victim of Freemasonry. He goes on and on about birds and all sorts of nonsense.

That statement does not negate the fact, that if a fellow Mason got himself into hot water, and you knew someone who could alter the outcome , that you wouldn't try to help him.
