im also a trump supporter, and a russian. but i dont believe anything. i have a suspicion that they probably did quite a bit. i even saw lavrov say something to the effect of "we helped" when asked about wikileaks.

the better question is why do people believe anything without seeing ANY evidence?

Yes, the Russians are hacking us. This was known as far back as 2014 when they crashed the White House computer systems just prior to the elections that year and it was kept quiet until after the elections for fear it might affect them negatively for Democrats.

North Korea has hacked Sony.

China has done its own share of cyber warfare too.

And I have to ask all of you who are only now so worried about Russians ... what has been done about it and why is it only now such a huge issue that the Russians, and only the Russians, are hacking us?

but have they centered all the attention on the election deliberately, knowing there was much more to the story hoping that we will be so busy arguing over weather or not russia hacked our elections we wouldn't focus on the whole story and panic, or at least take precautions....

As I see it ...two very bad boxers were in the ring. Neither were qualified for Madison Square garden. Some idiot who had money on the fight jumped into the ring and attacked one of the boxers. You can slow mo review the footage for days and debate if any punches landed or effected the outcome...but the fight is over..a winner declared...but that moron who jumped into the ring needs consequences...if everyone says ...that's ok... then next time more people will jump into the ring...why the hell not? Election over...and whether Russia effected the outcome is a moot point. An attempted bank robbery still needs to be prosecuted despite if they got away with thousands or nothing at all.

Russia blacked out Ukraine during invasion via the precise same hacking team and even the same code blocks that have just been found to have infiltrated the electrical grid in Vermont..Russia has employed the same political hacking campaigns in little former soviet republics that they just did here in the USA. This would seem the moment to start taking cyber war seriously..

We've known about this for years, and we've done squat. All of a sudden because Democrats lost the election, it seems time to make this into a big scary thing?

Understand, this is an issue and has been for years, not just now. But now it's an issue because it coincides with Democrat political goals and no other reason. They don't care. They really don't.

China could hack in and steal a bunch of top military plans tomorrow and they wouldn't care and we wouldn't really hear about it. They'd still be going on about the Russians hacking into the election because that's what the Democrats care about, not the country or its security.

That's an argument of its own seeing as we were meddling with Ukraine which made it volatile, we wanted them to join NATO, so Russia went in.

And our military announced in November we infiltrated their electric infrastructure ATS

on november 2,2016 the FBI made a statement saying that they are %99 sure that at least 5 foreign agencies hacked Clinton`s server.
