According to family he died peacefully at home.

I grew up with this... ( ok.. amont other things ; )

That is sad. He had quite a few hits with Wham and them when he went solo. I was just talking to the wife while we were driving and his song Last Xmas came on yesterday. I asked her whatever happen to him and if he was going to put out one more album. RIP Michael.

It's a very sad day for everyone.

I don't think it's going too far to say I was in love with this guy. Early childhood crush.

Edit - I still sing his songs today. I'll be up crying and singing him all night for what it's worth.



One of my favorites.

Every week one or two times I listened to him, maybe more. This is crazy. He was young and I bet he had a lot to deliver to us.. Very sad news.

Just this morning I was mumbling "Wake me up, before you go go" ...

i'm in shock rip georgios... this was my anthem for a while...

2016 has not been kind to the music world.

"One more try" was probably one of my favorites of his. It's got such a sad emotional tone to it.

Just heard now on BBC1 news.

Not a lot to say - numb.

Only 53, sold over 100 million records.

Died on Christmas Day.

Two of his most memorable records were about Christmas: Do They Know It's Christmas and Last Christmas.

Another big name to be added to the 2016 death list.

I use to go to the school disco and dance all the 80s dance moves to Wham. Loved it.

I've always felt that Faith was one of the most incredible albums ever to be written, produced, and performed by a single person. He had a bit of help on a few of the instruments, but most of that album was George Michael by himself, including the "female vocals" on Hard Day.

One of my favorite artists. One More Try was my favorite song on Faith.

Sorry to see you go, Mr. Michael. Peace.
