I am rather drunk

And I'm posting here to say Merry Xmas and a happy new year to all you jolly good fellows.

I have lurked here for many many years now, since around 2008 (maybe more then that) and I haven't started posting until just recently, but I regard you all as friends!

Here's to 2017 and I apologise in advance for any offence I cause this year, please don't take it personally as I can be quite opinionated and blunt.

Well, at least you are still alive to drink. That is a good sign. I never really drank on Christmas day, I always spent it with family drinking coffee and stuffing my face with good food.

Wise advice my friend! The car keys are safely tucked away out of my reach! We have opted to have a drink indoors tonight rather then go to a bar! Taxis are too expensive! It costs double/triple here in London on Xmas day and New Years eve

Oh yes sir I have certainly eaten my own weight in Xmas Dinner, chocolate and Egg nog.

I still got a half bottle of jack daniels with honey. That's getting emptied in a minute. Then im gonna watch home alone 1 and 2. But that don't mean i like christmas. BS capatalized commercial holiday.

Although I'm not a fan of Jack daniels, I'm quite partial to the old 'winter Jack'... had some today and it went down the old Gullet quite nicely indeed

Sadly I have a pretty religious family, so this is often the one day a year that I DONT drink. Little gift to myself...

I must say, I'm quite well into the sauce here myself... and am dealing with the obligatory famdamnily feuding (what with my wife of one week, two days and a handful of hours being thrown into the pot)...

But to one and all, I hope you've all had a really nice day, and are nurturing your Christmas food-babies and sleeping off those extra drinks!
