What did you get your family for x-mas, and what are your suspensions that you will receive on x-mas?

What I got for family and friends:
Family
Uncle- Tetly black tea
Cousin- Hot chocolate (variety of flavors)
Aunt- Adult coloring book, colored pencils, and 10$ facebook gift card
Mom- 25$ home depo gift card, and bear cup
Dad- 10$ gift card to Wal-Mart.
Brother-20$ gift card to Wal-Mart, 20$ bill, and a wolf cup
Grandfather + Grandmother- Chocolate
My boyfriend- sweater, 30$ eb games gift card, Crown royal, jack Daniels whisky, hat, colone, and something I am not going to say as it's to private.
BF step-mom- Wine glasses, and candles
BF dad- 25$ beer store gift card
BF sister 1- dragon fly sculpture colored purple.
BF sister 2- Girl products
BF mom- dragon fly sculpture colored purple.
BF sister 1 kids- Stuff animal, hair clips, and a lip palm.

And I will receive Nothing. Thus is Christmas this year.

Hubby and I will be alone on Christmas morn, as we have been the last few years.

So we went and bought a Bose soundbar for each other. IT ROCKS!!!!

Just bought my boys gift certs. Their in their 20's.

The twin grandsons though? Lots of clothes and a few toys. They are growing like weeds.

I got my wife a ukulele,,,,,,, might regret that one.

My daughter got a bunch of athletic clothes, Nike, under armor etc etc.

I am usually on the receiving end of flannel and Legos... Life is good.

Not going to go through the entire list but I'll say one gift in particular I'm excited about giving. Our 5 year old son is big into Transformers in general and the show Transformers Prime in particular. He has NO CLUE that they made an (allegedly) great game based on the series as a Wii U exclusive. I can't wait to see the look on his face.

Of course, we also picked up the annual Hess Truck.

For my part, although it wont come on time for Christmas, Mrs. Clause (my better half) ordered me a great generator I've had my eye on for a while. It runs off of gas OR propane so whichever one is available at the time......

The best part about Christmas is having everyone together. Unfortunately, by brother is still boycotting my house because Trump (he boycotted Thanksgiving as well). I'll just keep inviting him to celebrations and we'll see what happens.

Good for you! That's the true spirit of the season in action!!! I really appreciate and admire that. Good luck. I hope your graciousness helps him come around and smooth the ruffled feathers.

a reply to: primespickleconsidering he is a convicted rapist, and a child molester (he didn't rape me but someone I know in person long ago), and I rarely see him. So, ya.. not much bond between us.

We don't exactly talk to each other as much over the years. Never did spend a lot on him besides one year. Plus, it wasn't the cheapest thing on my list either. I spent more on him then my cousin, grandparents, J, and uncle.

I haven't bought a single gift and wont be. I have spent about $600 on Christmas Day lunch and dinner, lotsa yummy stuff and alcoholic beverages. Gonna be cooking for a day or so but the festivities will great!
I stopped buying gifts for Christmas a few years ago. I stressed myself out over the holidays year after year. Finally realized that I had lost sight of the season. Now I just cook to my hearts content, bake some sweets and mix up a few cocktails.
