Project Veritas has exposed even more corruption by Dems, this time by catching Democrat judges from Chicago on undercover video violating election regulations by pretending to be Republicans on Election Day.
There is supposed to be an equal number of Republican and Democratic judges on Election Day to ensure equal representation and to monitor voting, according to Illinois state law.
The undercover Project Veritas journalist asked judge named Betty Jones what being a Republican judge means.
“Oh, you know what, I’m just a judge I get paid,” Jones said. “I just get paid. I don’t give a green flip. I don’t care what it means.”
In the United States an election judge (called an elections inspector, elections officer or poll worker in some U.S. states) is an official responsible for the proper and orderly voting in local precincts. Depending on the state, election judges may be identified as members of a political party or non-partisan. They are generally volunteers or paid a small stipend for their work. Each voting precinct is staffed with multiple judges. The duties include signing in registered voters, explaining voting procedure and use of voting equipment, providing ballots and monitoring the conduct of the election. In states with Election Day voter registration, they also register new voters on election day. Depending on the state, election judges are chosen by a board of elections, county official (such as the county clerk or county auditor), city or township official (such as a city clerk) or the state.
