Hi guys. Im checking in with you all.

Havent been around lately but im working on a short story for the shed that will be coming soon. It will be true life account writen as "fiction" Gordi knows what its about since i brought up the idea to him.

Its raining all day here in los angeles. As a angelino i dont often get to play in the rain. But today i did. I even walked barefoot through some puddles in glee like a little boy would earlier.

Syx,

My baby dragons are good and growing. They have a habit of eating food out of my crockpot when im not looking.

They got to play in the rain today also. They enjoy making steam by blowing fire into the down pour. Unfortunately one is a bit too proactive. He knows i like steam showers and while i was in the other roon waiting for the shower to warm up je decides to blow flame into the shower to help warm things up and set fire to the shower curtains. Giddily saying to me in his attempt at human speech "im helping!" he means well

Previous Itty Bit:
Several long and painful minutes passed. By the time Kaelci’s vision had returned, Darien appeared but his normal self once more. No evidence remained of his otherworldly power. She stared at him in silence, not knowing what she could possibly say; she was completely dumbfounded, speechless. And Sita! That wretched woman was gone.

Darien returned her stare before smirking customarily.

“Shall we return to Accasia, young miss?”

Current Itty Bit:
Kaelci and Darien had returned to Accasia several weeks prior, spending their time in the comfort and safety of the Shed whilst they recovered from their unwanted adventure in the other realm.

Kaelci could scarcely believe what they had been through, and she was somewhat horrified to find that she did not even care about her old friend's demise, she had simply accepted it. They had been through so much together, she had cried so many tears over her, and yet... it was finally over. And Darien! They had not spoken about Sita's accusations, the strange power he had summoned, or the ease in which he had disposed of the woman, and she was entirely unsure how to even begin such a conversation. Instead, she chose to just ignore it. He was still Darien and that was all that mattered.

She sat out in the gardens behind the Shed and admired the vibrant colours of the realm, the beautiful flowers and the turquoise waters of the nearby waterfall, the sound of the running water the purest of delights after her recent trials.

A small pixie fluttered past and offered Kaelci a sparkling beverage, which she graciously accepted, and she reclined back in the ornate garden chair and continued admiring the gorgeous surrounds. Unexpectedly, a light vibration began to emanate throughout her robes and she suddenly remembered the crystal orb and key she had taken from that decrepit structure within the dark and gloomy other realm! She reached into her robes and drew out the small silver chest and opened it, eagerly she gazed into the depths of the crystal globe, and once more she witnessed the white forest that had beckoned to her earlier.

Trees of purest white and adorned with thousands of fairy lights were surrounded by glittering snow, icy flakes shaped as intricate runes fell from the sky and landed dreamily upon the coated ground, each one vanishing the moment they dared land, and there were playful snow foxes leaping in and out of the drifts, they were adorable! It seemed a complete wonder and she felt the stirrings of adventure begin to call out to her, an excited rush of enthusiasm swiftly coursing throughout as the vision in the crystal vanished and she desired to see this wonderful white world with her own eyes.

She closed the silver chest and thrust it back into her robes, her eyes gleaming as her mind dare dream of what lay ahead, and swiftly she leapt to her feet, hastening into the Shed to search for Darien.

After the horrid events they had experienced in that long forgotten realm of darkness, these sudden thoughts of a light and beautiful adventure were most enticing. She did not stop to wonder why the crystal orb was beckoning her, and the silver key that lay next to the orb had been forgotten, she wanted nothing more than to simply frolic with those playful foxes in that beautiful wonderland.

However, before she could go forth, she must find Darien.

Hey Bass, its good to see you!
I hope you are getting plenty of work, and eating well. I missed you!
My folks met working at a hospital in LA. dad was a nerd, and had never been with a woman. My mom was a country farm girl from Illinois. They hung out in the same group, and one day dad went up to her and said, right out of the blue, " Bettie, I think I love you". She laughed her ass off, and replied " Ill help you get over it". She never did help him get over it. They fell deeply in Love, and he loved her till the day she passed, and to this day.

They moved from San Gabriel to northern Cali in the 50s , and then I was born.

We are getting pelted with rain here too. My yard is flooded and my garage had a deluge come in as well. So much for this so called drought.
Be well Bro!

Oh more company!

Rider what a beautiful story about your Parents! Mine met as neighbors when they were young and were each others first and only love. Still said I love you every night and held hands until my Dad passed in his late 80's. Now they are finally together again in heaven.

Hi Wis! Love your new avatar!

I just have to share something with you guys that dad shared with me. I hope it doesn't come off as arrogant

Dad was in church last weekend ( I was working). Dad said the pastor came up to him, with a somewhat confused look on his face and told him that during the week, he had asked a woman who worked in the church office, " what is your favorite part of church". Her reply through him off balance. She said " sitting in front of Ray ( Dad) and his son, and hearing them sing full force from the pew".

Wow! What a compliment. It made my dad really proud of me, and put tears in my eyes to hear that I helped bless someone. I do take my singing very seriously and practice everyday. I love to croon. I try to make every syllable shine. But to hear a compliment like that in that way really touched me. I just love it when I make dad proud. He is a very humble man

Rider you are blessed. Cherish your Dad and the voice you have been given.
I rejoice with you. These are the things that matter in the big tapestry of life. How we show our love and care in little encounters.
Every drop of true compassion makes an ocean. You and your Dad share a rare gift.
HUGS

(Shhhh, don't call me wise)

I doubt you want to know how I am.
Queen witch(exchange w. with b. ) announced that I would be "reprimanded" if I didn't do her bidding. I was crying through several customers. I hate being in the middle of a power struggle.
Hugs please.
