The Shed 13

Good morning my beautiful Shedigans!!!! The rain kept me up most the night so I'm begging the pixies for their "special coffee" this morning, against my better judgment! I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!

And good morning to you too! What a great way to start the day, I love seeing all the pics of the roses, and dragons, and fairies and all that. Made me happy after a crappy night of little sleep. Sometimes I have trouble, but it gives me the added benefit of remembering a lot more dreams and also having dreams while not really sleeping. I had some weird ones and one that just kept continuing.
I like minerals, here's a cool pic someone else might like too.

I am contemplating roses. I thought back on my dads rose garden when I was little, he had every color, and it struck me how wonderful he was at tending to them.

My dad kept a rose garden too, it was amazing... and the smell!! Awesome!
My mum used to jokingly call it his "Midgie Maker" (A Midgie is the rather annoying Scottish equivalent of a mosquito!)

Have you managed to "catch up" with any of the earlier sheds yet?
The very first shed came out of a Valentines thread believe it or not!!
Angelchemuel had a Valentines thread that a few of us got chatty in and started sharing stories etc
When valentines was over and ATS shut the thread... we had to create a new place to meet up and that's when jacygirl opened our first shed.
It got moved around quite a bit in those early days and at one point we thought that we might lose it altogether because it was difficult for the staff and mods to put us in any one category!
Was it story telling or chat? Collaborative Writing? HOAX?? ROFL

Eventually we ended up in General Chit Chat with a portion of Story-Telling on the side, and have been here ever since.
A couple of summers ago, the UK shedizens even had our own Gathering where we met up and spent the weekend at my holiday flat on a beautiful Scottish Island (for REAL!) There is a thread about that HERE - The GATHERING

If there's anything you're not sure about, just ask!
We're a friendly bunch and don't bite too often.... apart from the gerbils and the occasional ferret.... watch out for them!

Ok. (In My Opinion) Anyone can finish This War. This next piece, will nearly end it, from My point of view. John? Shep? Where are You guys?!

As the battle of Good versus Evil raged, it was snowing furiously, it also was obvious the numbers of the evil ones were thinning rapidly. With all The Accasion Warriors enmeshed in Battle, there were many falling evil ones, along with some of the defending Warriors. Swords clashed, Hammers fell, Spiked Ball Maces were swung and the blood sprayed, everywhere....

There were Mighty Giant Rams tearing the demon entities to shreds! Their huge hooves smashed the evil ones right and left. They tossed the demons into the air with Their horns, and booted them across the warring fray. When they landed, other mighty warriors would slice them to bits.

The smells from the evil ones was already barely tolerable, but now mixed with the smell of blood and death, it was quite unpleasant. The sounds of screams of Those dying, or getting slashed, smashed, and burned to death was horrible.

The sound carried for many miles, attracting some to the area just to see what was going on. Before this Battle, the call for arms went out all across Accasia, but all did not either hear them, or chose not to attend.

Now many Warriors had chosen to attack the mighty tall evil one, that appeared When Swanne arrived. IT was turning into a major confrontation, in itself! The tall one repelled most of His aggressors. Their attacks seemed not to harm Him! However the Battle still raged. The good hearted Warriors against the Tall one, and against the remaining Demonic entities went on and on....

After a week, or a little more, of fighting from dawn till dusk, and throughout the night, the battle began to take on more like street fight scenario's. The fighting between evil and Good Hearted Warriors, was broken into several smaller groups. They were scattered in different areas in the out lying areas of The Shed.

The weapons still slashed and clashed, and bodies hit the ground and added to the layers of dead now all around Accasia. Just not as many or as fast as when this entire War had begun. Blood still flowed in streams. Vultures and other carniverous scavengers roamed and picked at the dead rotting meats....

CC was very tired from all the fighting She was part of. She had cuts, bruises all over Her once untainted Body. She went to The Shed to Our room and got cleaned up. She then layed down and instantly fell into a well deserved deep sleep....

Syx and the rest of the Dragons roamed the area, flaming enemies when They were seen. Some of the Dragons went air born, then dive bombed evil ones and clamped them into Their Sharp Taloned Claws.

Then took them very high into the air, and dropped them into the fighting turmoils still going on. Most of the time, the dropped ones died on impact. Some, still barely alive upon hitting the ground, were immediately dispatched, by the Warriors skillfully wielded Weapons!

It would not be long now, and the fighting would be over....

Gordi, thanks for telling Ellie more of the history of the shed! I always envied your gathering. It must have been so amazing!

Syx, great story entry! I hope that John and Shep can come in and make another entry. I won't be on until some time later tonight. I usually leave around one and between my friend and I, we have lunch and all kinds of running around to do, groceries and what-not. I doubt that I will post my entry tonight and if not, perhaps tomorrow. We'll see.

Hi Little one! Thanx, about The story entry. I was kinda lost as to what to write, leaning towards a conclusion of the War. I'm not real happy with that last bit, but it will suffice.... As far as an entry from You, just do it when You are comfortable with writing something....

Yes, today is my day out with Linda. I should be getting dressed, but need more coffee and a cigarette first. Then I have to put my face on. LOL! Mark teases me because I have a basket on the kitchen counter with all kinds of makeup products and moisturizers. I have makeup brushes sticking in a fancy china coffee cup. LOL! He says, "Why is all this # on the counter and not in the bathroom?" I said, "Because the lighting is better in here."
