I even checked the front porch. No wet footprints. Its been raining like crazy here. Yeah that was a trip, and the dog spelled it too. I have no idea, and I didn't recognize the perfume scent.

Rider, If not a relative, I would first check out the history of the home, who might have owned it in the past and the history of the land it was built on.
