Need help with missing recipe card....wife is going insane.

Hello all, I'm hoping someone can help out a bit. My wife has the old Mary Masters My Greatest Recipes card set from the 80's. However her Herbed Beer Bread recipe card is missing... She puts together mason jars with the ingredients and recipe and gives them as gifts. She is not happy, please help.... Thanks

Probably not the same, but my mother in law gave these away a year or so ago. Never made it myself but sis in law loved it

There are full sets for sale on eBay, maybe you can politely ask someone to give you the missing one without buying it.

Thanks guy's. I tried to help by looking up some recipes, she let me know that she wants that specific recipe, and if I lost it, I am a dead man.... I've already gone through the 700+ cards and it's not there..... I think I'm doomed.

You could try to turn it around on her and say the last time you saw it, she had it. But you probably shouldn't take advice from anonymous sources.

Ok, dont panic, and just claim there WAS no card to begin with, she had a fevered dream and is just mistaken.

Do not divert from this story, if the SHTF, you're on your own OP!!

Ahahaha! This is one of those stories that's not funny, but it's funny.

Hope you find the card or at least the recipe online. We'd hate to see a murder so close to Christmas and all.

You could always tell her the Russians took it...just a thought.

Above Top Secret has a cooking section, i never knew that.

I would give store bought bread as the gift, with a note attached telling the person to eat the bread and wash it down with their beer of choice.

Try to convince her that recipe never existed. Blame the Mandela Effect.

She's half German, half irish. Their not known for calm loving forgiveness..... And trust me she knows I would never fool around on her, I love her madly and she knows it.
