Yeah, you're right. Because a dollar is a unit of measuring, like and inch or a degree and they never fail to be the most important thing. When push comes to shove we will always allow the degrees reading on the thermometer to decide whether to turn on the heater rather than how cold we feel. Our collective society would rather go hungry and lose jobs, than let the value of our dollar fall even slightly.
