Why won't my pics load?!!

I haven't been able to load any pics on here for a thread. It tells me only image files are supported. Wth is that? I have an iPhone 6s Plus. I've used an iPhone since they came out. I've uploaded images no problem in the past from my phone and now it won't let me? I'm getting very frustrated because I have no other way to upload images to ATS.

My guess is its either aliens or the Russians have hacked your upload thingy.

Use the JPEG--->PNG app in the App Store. It'll be the exact same picture it just converts it into the format that makes it viable for upload.

I'd go with Aliens.

Or .... what's the file size of the image you want to load , there is a size limit.

I am having the same issue, jpeg to png is not helping. jpegs was working before. Now no formats work

I am using a laptop. Half of the pictures upload blank the other half don't upload at all

rename the file to jpg. same thing, but silly ATS doesnt like Jpeg.

Check you file size and image pixel size.
I know ATS upload can be finicky at times

I had no problem with Jpeg before. Now it won't work. How would I even rename jpeg to jpg?

It wont upload any size even small. I deleted pics encase there were too many uploaded but that did not help either

What's your browser?

Uploading won't work in some high security browsers such as Orweb.

If you're on a mac, select your file and hit "enter". Type ".jpg" at the end of your file's name. If you're on Windows, hit f2 and type ".jpg" at the end of your file.

Jpeg and jpg are so close to one another, they can be converted by simply changing the file extension name.

Thanks but that didn't work either. Im using windows and firefox browser. Suddenly couldnt upload pics about 2 and 1/2 weeks ago. I am not running a popup blocker. Cleared cache. Nothing working. I used all the tips on other ats troubleshooting threads. Nothing helping so far

Silly question, I know, but do you hit the little cloud button after you've chosen your picture?

Yes. Only about half the time the picture uploads but it is blank and it shows a little broken link symbol in the top left corner of where the picture would be. I would show you a screen shot but i can not upload it. lol

yeah, jpeg, png, gif. I know bmp never worked before. The only thing I am assuming is that it could be a problem with firefox maybe a couple of updates ago. I can't use chrome cause it will only update for vista or higher since i am still running xp. Explorer is obsolete on xp. I could try Opera I guess? IDK

Also, according to the very source above:

Some time ago, Mozilla also announced that Firefox would no longer work with some versions of Windows XP. Read their article here. Opera is one of the alternatives they recommend.

Mozilla pulling off from XP might explain why your Firefox is misbehaving. Firefox simply won't work any longer, and you won't be able to update it anymore.

According to an Iphone user, it only works for pictures "taken on the moment".
