Skid - I don't know how you'll feel about this idea but there are 10 Amish communities in Indiana. Is it worth checking to see if they'll take you in over the winter in exchange for work?

Wow. I got a bit behind on replies because I had stuff to get done. I had to store some of my stuff, get my girls ready to go to their temporary place (they're settling in nicely), and get settled in where I'm at now (a friend let me stay at his place). Here we go:
