Electors are being harassed, threatened in bid to stop Trump

"On the eve of Monday’s meetings of the Electoral College to select America’s next president, the pressure on hundreds of Electoral College voters from pro and anti-Trump forces has only intensified. One Arizona elector told the Washington Post that she has been receiving 50 letters and 3,000 emails a day, mostly attempting to convince her to vote for anyone other than Trump on Monday. A Texas elector told Politico he has received more than 200,000 emails in total, while others have received harassing phone calls, hate mail, and even death threats after activists published their contact info online.

While there is essentially no chance that the efforts to sway Electoral College voters away from Trump will be able to change the result of the election, that hasn’t stopped the progressive activists and organizations that have committed themselves to the cause, nor has it stopped Trump supporters and Republican Party officials from contacting electors and making sure they are going to stick with Trump.

Progressive groups are reportedly set to protest at the various Electoral College meetings throughout the country on Monday, while this weekend, a group called Unite for America began addressing personalized videos to electors in which celebrities like Martin Sheen and Bob Odenkirk refer to the electors by name and ask them to vote their conscience and reject Trump."

Why isn't the corrupt DOJ or the FBI going after these "death threats"???? Why is the left executing death threats upon these electors and why are their leaders supporting that action by not speaking out about it. I think that if anything were to change the elector's minds...Trump now has a legal reason to change the votes back. If you threaten someone into changing their vote...Trump can take that to court and win!

Maybe the threatened electors are white. That would make sense why Lynch is ignoring the death threats. Freakin' racist!

What is the difference between threatening someone by email and threatening them personally at a polling place?

None, if you are using threats of death or violence in order to punish someone for expressing themselves differently that how you would like.

Voting is a right. It is constitutionally guaranteed.

Socialist really have no problems with threats or killing people . Take a quick history revies of socialist leaders actions.

I really hope that at least the local law enforcement in the elector's state are taking the threats seriously and investigating them. At no point should anyone be receiving death threats!!! I find this attitude disgusting, everyone found to have sent a threatening email, letter, or phone call should be charged to the fullest extent of the law!!!
