Are you certain that the cause of the silence isn't that nobody wants to talk to you or people like you? It's clear that you don't want to have a reasonable conversation.

Sounds like you need a safe place or an echo chamber with just people who agree with you.

You are laughably wrong, and further proving my point. Thank you.

He's fooled more than just the press, his backtracking on pretty much every major issue he campaigned about is proof of that. Yet you guys take the slaps in the face with a "thank you".

People like me? you mean people who knew both choices were crap and will actually question Trump instead of blindly following him?.
Yup I'm one of those people.

Nope. I meant people who refer to those they disagree with as "lemmings". Do you see?

Seriously? He is postponing a news conference...not the decision....even stated in your quote...

Donald Trump is postponing a news conference designed to announce plans on how to handle his business interests amid concerns that they pose conflict of interest problems for his presidency, Trump transition officials said Monday.

Kind of like how Trump supporters have been calling the left "SJW's", "snowflakes", "libtards", etc. for the past year and a half? Yeah, seems kind of hypocritical to bash someone else for calling other people names doesn't it?

Yes, "you guys" as in Trump supporters. Keep on with the excuses though, we'll find out soon enough how big of a mistake voting for Trump was. Actions speak louder than words and at this point Trump has been all talk.

Trump’s has to attend to his cabinet: The Goldman Sacks, Gas & Oil Military Junta

Don't forget Carl Jr. since your being dramatic.

Have you ever run a business the size of the US? Who would you have hired for your cabinet, smart ass?

It is obvious many are...Trump can do no wrong in their eyes. I ask again how long before they wake up? he played you all like a fiddle can you not see he lied? (Oh and don't deflect to Clinton I never supported her also).
To quote Carl Bernstein yesterday ""Trump lives and thrives in a fact-free environment. No president, including Richard Nixon, has been so ignorant of fact and disdains fact in the way this president-elect does,"
"Richard Nixon was nothing, in terms of lying, compared to what we have seen from Donald Trump,"

Are you attempting to say Trump has not lied?.

Oh and it really does appear you want a safe place If all you are bothered about is me calling many Trump supporters lemmings.
Poor Trump justice warrior...

I'm not even slightly saying that Trump has not lied.

What I'm saying, is what I said.

If you don't see how name-calling undermines civil discourse, I don't know what else to say to you.

If you feel like I'm picking on you or the left, well I'm sorry for hurting your feelings. I'll state now in no uncertain terms that I think it's equally despicable when the same crap comes from the right. Sure: maybe I've been emotionally swept up in politics at times, like many here. But I don't call people names and I don't defer to coarse political buzzwords for the sake of making another feel small.

This is boring and we're off-topic by a mile, so tata. Maybe we'll meet in another thread where we agree on something.

Edit to add: I saw your cute addition to your last post there. Tell me: what is the low-road like, exactly? I avoid it.

Looks like divesting is going to be a bigger job than Trump had expected!

OOPS! Someone wasn't ready for so much winning!

I also believe this to be the case. He really never expected to win, just put up as controlled opposition and then launch a new media empire.... Surprise!

Trying to stay out of it as much as I can. All I can say is that I am "cautiously optimistic" about some of his platform (Taxes and Healthcare). Time will tell.

Many of the folks who just lay around the house getting their PhD by watching CNN, think that Trump should have filled his cabinet with people who were good at what they do, but on a smaller scale.

For instance, the U.S. Secretary of Commerce position should have been filled by the Honorable LeRoy Lee, head of Illinois's grain silo cooperative.

It's already built, a lot of it anyway. Like ES said, plenty of wall already built around towns like Juarez which is a complete #hole, over run with murder, drugs, prostitution.

I dunno, man. When I was there, it was in the worst part of the Drug War but we were perfectly safe. Don't get me wrong, there were occasional "WTF!" moments, but I can find those anywhere. The locals gave me a very simple set of rules which kept me out of trouble: 1. Don't look the military patrols in the eye and 2. Don't get involved in drugs in any way at all ever. Stick to those 2 rules and Juarez is a blast (no pun intended, lol). So I guess I'd say the murders are horrible, nearly all of the drugs end up in the US, and the prostitution may have actually been less than we have in big US cities.

Now, what is the biggest waste of money:

1. People collecting welfare doing nothing or,
2. People building a wall, earning income and slowing down illegal aliens like in Juarez that are a bunch of criminals for the most part.

I'll go with:
3. Corporate welfare, like the billions of $ in subsidies we give to already-profitable corporations.
and
4. Wasted money spent on the MIC. We've spent something like $15-20 trillion on the Defense Dept alone since 9/11, yet we still howl about terrorism & not being safe. When are we going to see a tangible return on that investment?

I agree, if you mind the P&Q's of the area you will be ok. I got shook down once but just laughed it off in Juarez. Thing is, I was TOLD by the agents at the border not to enter. I did. Had a great time. The food and the (blank) was great. Don't regret it but it was a one shot deal, never going back.

Improved borders are a good thing for everybody living in the US. It just is, no way around it. I live in TX and the surrounding areas where illegals gel into cause a lot of problems for us. I wish that was not the case but that is reality. They bring in drugs, gangs and just hardcore violence. I live in a safe area but what surrounds me I would never enter it. I don't know if Trump can get a handle on it but I know for a fact Hillary did not care. Never made any effort her to campaign, her or Obama. Come look at this situation. Come see what people like me are dealing with. They never did. I voted Trump and I really don't like him to be honest.
