Amazing find, so fascinating.

But, are we going to ignore the fact that ants have not changed what so ever for almost 100 million years?

My thoughts exactly.

Awesome, thanks for sharing this!

It brings to mind Anne McCaffrey's fire lizards. From the dragon riders of pern books.

Would have loved to have one of these as a pet!

Thx again for sharing this here.

Respectfully,
~meathead

Couldn't have said it better myself! Double post record?

ETA: Indeed a fantastic find. Beautiful to see the preservation as it reflects the past that is sorely needed to be displayed.

Ever seen two roosters face off? They puff out their neck feathers in a circle around rheir head....just like in Jurrasic world and the others.

A road island red rooster is a mini dino imo

Wow, this is a really cool find! Whats up with the Ant you think?

I'm good. What's up with you?

There's a few critters in there. There's two ants that I see and looks the underside of beetle right up against the tail and in bottom of the bottom picture in eisegesis's post, that might be a flea? That chunk of amber is loaded.
