Never been a fan. First heard of him a few years ago so maybe he was better before then.

Michael Savage is about the furthest right I can stomach.

Oh, he sure is. Paul Revere Society.

And I've got 100's of burned DVDs from Art Bell and some later with Noory.

I just casually stay tuned-in now. Just for fun.

----------------------------------------------------------

Anyway, back to Trump and his Cabinet Picks.

Its gonna "be a ride".

Ambassador to CHINA = Iowa Governor TERRY BRANSTAD

"President-elect Donald Trump has selected Terry Branstad, the long-serving Republican governor of Iowa, as ambassador to China, a transition official confirmed Wednesday.

Branstad has extensive ties to China and a personal friendship with Chinese President Xi Jinping that dates back decades. If his nomination goes through, the move could help reassure China’s leadership that Trump understands the importance of healthy relations with Beijing."

Anyone else get the Ocean's 11 vibe looking at this list?

THE POLLS ARE BACK! And probably as wrong as ever. At any rate, the majority of Americans are UNHAPPY with Donald Trump's transition process & cabinet picks.

""Donald Trump may be speeding through his administration appointments — as of Wednesday he’s more than halfway through announcing his Cabinet picks — but the majority of Americans disapprove of how he’s handling his transition.

According to a survey released Thursday by Pew Research, just 41% of Americans approve of the job the president-elect has done making clear his “policies and plans.” That number is significantly lower than past presidents.

President Obama had the highest transition approval going into his presidency in December 2008, at 72%. Former president Bill Clinton had 62% in January 1993 and George W. Bush had 50% in January 2001, according to Pew.

The majority of Americans also aren’t thrilled with his Cabinet selections: Forty percent approve of his picks for Cabinet and high-level posts.""

Since MOST AMERICANS don't know a damn thing about most of his cabinet picks, what basis do they have for being "unhappy"??

Well, DUH!

I'm still not sure what people thought they were voting for.

I think we've educated ourselves very quickly on who these folks are , and what they stand for.

I reiterate.. MOST Americans have not sat down and familiarized themselves with the backgrounds of Trump's cabinet picks. Just smart, inquisitive, informed Americans like YOU, Angeldoll.

If voters were informed.

They wouldn't have voted for Trump.

DEPARTMENT OF LABOR PICK = ANDREW PUZDER

"Donald Trump has chosen an anti-regulation fast-food executive, opposed to a higher minimum wage, to lead the US Department of Labor.

The president-elect said Andrew Puzder, the latest tycoon added to his cabinet, had a "record fighting for workers".
Mr Puzder, chief executive of CKE Restaurants, which operates the Carl's Jr and Hardee's, has often argued a higher minimum wage would kill jobs.

The Labor Department regulates wages along with workplace safety."

SOURCE: www.bbc.com...

Which cabinet appointee infuriates Democrats more? ANDREW PUZDER for Department of Labor? Or, Environmental Protection Agency pick, SCOTT PRUITT?

Democrat politicians appearing on CNN today, before Andrew Puzder was nominated, were infuriated that Donald Trump would "Poke Democrats in the Eye" by choosing SCOTT PRUITT to head the EPA. They vowed a monster confirmation fight, to keep him out of that position.

This evening, they got their other eye poked with Andrew Puzder's nomination. I'm sure we'll hear rabid whining from the minority party about him tomorrow.

So did they really change the National Security Adviser?

I saw this early on:

The chart on this page shows the amount of time taken for cabinet nominees to be approved, back to President Reagan.

WSJ CHART: www.wsj.com...

WHY is it taking longer than average for most of President Trump's nominees to be confirmed..from start to finish? The Senate is majority Republican... Democrats can't block any of them. What's the problem???

In part, it's because he made several bad moves - one of which was his (apparently) not bothering to find out that he needed to acquire around 1,000 people and he let the ball drop (this has been mentioned many times.) He blanket-accepted the resignation of groups of officials (standard procedure to turn in a letter of resignation but most presidents don't accept the resignation until they need the position filled) - so he's understaffed.

He's also not someone who trusts easily and wants people in office who are beholden to him (so they will go along with his plans. We've seen him fire a number of folks who disagreed with him.)

And third, some of the ones he selected have backed out.
