When there's college faculty members actively teaching their students these things and then opposing facilty members losing thier jobs, it's in no way being blown out of proportion. If you want to ignore it and bury your head in the sand then so be it, but to think theres not going to be a reaction to these attacks is just naive.

But the "blowback" against the alt-left has just begun, Trump winning is just the first wave....more are coming.

Nothing relegates a faction to irrelevancy more than the other side being successful and that part has already started.

I agree... and we must temper our own .. living by example.. to not be too harsh. Theyre our people you know. I cant stand them personally, mainly because I dont like the dramatics, but we cant allow them not to have a voice or be harmed. Im my life right now, I dont let them in. I know and love dems and repubs and etc... but the over the top folks on either side or in the middle are chucked out of my life. If this is done enough I think they will grow and get the idea.

I sincerely hope so, the amount of SJW traffic I see has not slowed down and even spread as far as slSouth Africa.

Your right about the blowback pushing people to the right. While I wouldn't consider myself rightwing, I also would no longer call myself leftwing anymore due to this nonsense. I'm absolute central ATM...

You are the one accusing me of sticking my head in sand just because I won't get all emotional and bent out of shape about your pet topic. I just don't want to argue with someone who looks like they are looking to argue for the sake of arguing is all. Sorry to break your bubble and all.

If you want to discuss this civilly then I'm all game but when you lead with assumptive attacks I'm not going to play ball.

No I accused you of sticking your head in the sand for saying this has been blown out of proportion and attempting to dismiss anyones thoughts to the contrary. And now youre accusing me of being 'all emotional and bent out of shape about your pet topic' asthough ive ever posted about this ever before and an obvious attempt to dissmiss any points I have raised.

You then also accused me of 'looking to argue for the sake of arguing' which is especially rich coming from yourself...

I just keep looking at psychological issue.

Perhaps the psychological trauma is guilt.

We've never had more access to the world and it's inequalities, or the access to the history and how those inequalities were put in place.

As an Australian with German Heritage brought up on American culture.
I've got Jewish, Indian and Aboriginal genocides on my shoulders before I even open a book to research.

Could being an SJW just be an outlet for the guilt?

Or to answer your the title, Do "New wave SJWs have psychological issues ?"

Yes they do, the same one's as everyone else.
They just deal with it differently.

I personally deal with it by lying to myself and thinking that because I've read "Things Fall Apart" and only say the "N word" around my white friends I can absolve myself from any cultural responsibility.

Why would you take any kind of responcibility for things you had absolutely no part in? Are you that irrationally ashamed of the color of your skin?

Holding onto guilt for the vile actions of those that are long dead purely because you happen to share the same skin pigmentation or even the same hereditry could be described as a form of insanity imo...

Do you think that theres a single person alive today (yes even pocs) that doesnt have people with the same skin color or family line that didn't commit such atrocities?

Holding onto this guilt only empowers those wishing play the victim with said atrocities asthough they were the actual victims...

Whenever I see the term SJW mentioned I can't help but think of this particular article. Just replace "Donald Trump" with someone and "Nazi" with SJW.

And speaking of psychology, ever notice how abbreviation tends to lend a term more weight, Similar in a way to how "offensive" words tend to have a low amount of syllables. The primitive aspect of our minds at work perhaps?!

That's a good question.
If my father killed your father I'd feel awkward having a beer with you and would probably apologise to you.
Roles reversed I believe you would be the same.

And you're right. All the cultures who don't have histories of rape and pillage were raped and pillaged out of existence. Maybe we encourage everyone to find their guilt.

I don't agree with empowering the victims.
If you're treated like a minority where you live the options are "work harder than the others" or "kill enough people until you are the majority". If you're not doing either than quit your whinging, life's not fair and never will be.

I'd call my father a murderous asshole and tell you that I am sorry that it happened, but I wouldnt take on the sins of the father and personally apologise, no.

Every culture has raped, pillaged and murdered. People are people.

I don't agree with empowering the victims.

No it empowers those playing the victim, not the actual and long dead victims.

And no matter your skin pigmentation or hereditry if your poor then the options you mention are universal, yes even for white people and white males...

It's funny how these people think they are qualified to judge the mental state of others when they supported the most mentally unstable person to ever hold office.

1. can't argue with that.
2. can't argue with that.
3. Yeah, I should have said "I, like you don't agree with empowering those who play...."

I agree with you on everything.
Still, that guilt won't go away.

I'm not saying I'm rational or consistent. Just saying what I think.

It's even funnier how you feel qualified the judge President Trump's mental state vs. every other president we've had. You are really amazing.
