I know 12 months ago the US economy we toxic. Today our Canadian business is busy trying to do what they should have done 12 months ago.... get into the US construction market. It's booming down there and that sucks for us here. The last few years manufacturers have been bending over for us lowly Canadians to get a share of our market. Now... they won't even take our calls.

I jest I jest, I'm just curious to how its affecting individual Americans, it's hard to gauge just because the construction industry is booming how ordinary people are feeling.

If its anything the same then there is a lot of trickle down from construction development and that is usually a biproduct of some other speculation.

Granted things are different here with a smaller population. Resource and development keeps everyone down to crackhead laborers riding high up here.

Yes..but I attribute those "simpler times" to me being a kid and not having any worries. I don't think most people who have adapted to the current times, would be willing to give up these modern conveniences (Smartphone, PC, HD TV, Microwave, etc..) and go back to the 1960's lifestyle.
