I have said this same thing a time or two. A while back there was a report of a local man that had a solid gold bathtub installed in his house. Somewhere, I think it is China, someone has a solid gold toilet.

I too thought how much more grand it would have been if they had used that money for something that would last for all time, instead of for their 15 minutes of fame.

If you want your name to go down in history, it would seem they would want to be remembered for contributing to the good of the world, not for helping to destroy it, or for something frivolous or stupid.

that kind of person doesn't want to be surrounded by money.

It's only recently I wished I was rich to throw my weight around helping the world somehow.
Even if I couldn't figure out the best way to do it, I could hire teams of people to think for me lol.

I didn't think much of it but looking back my changes started taking effect from years ago.. I'm watching people out of nowhere getting it. The lights are turning on.

I think how evil the world has gotten mixed with the increase exposure by more widespread news and news provider choices.. I think the evil just went too far, and conspiracy research has hit the masses.
Now the race is on to WWIII or a better world.

Unfortunately the United States just elected one with golden toilets as President, as a vet, it honestly make me shake my head. Especially after the way his campaign was run, and those that voted for him. As proud as I am of the service to my country, I am not ashamed of it, but scared for it. There is some bad stuff coming.

The troops (I am a vet as well) supported Trump over Hillary. By numbers I mean..

She was one of the people pushing the no fly zone in airspace that Russia is flying in.

She was the worst possible choice if you don't like WWIII.

I detest Trump don't get me wrong but ISIS supporting american traitors deserve less thana reality TV star who has golden toilets. Believe it or not.

I am not a HIllary supporter, but the US just nominated and elected one of the two worst possible candidates in history. I was not happy with the election result, and become less happy as I see him try and fill his cabinet. There are many here that support the Orange Messiah, I am old, and really don't GAF, but worry about my children.

I don't care about personal feelings about Trump. He was the best choice we had against war with Russia/Syria/Iran

Let's not forget I was briefed in 2006 I think February 2006 that Syria and then Iran would be our last targets..
I'm a bit more involved in this whole thing informationwise than your average bear because of this.

It looks like us Vets are on board tonight. I have to agree with you that we had the 2 worse candidates to choose from in the history of America.

I just don't believe that it was the best that America had to offer. I think it is all part of a bigger plan, and I think that evidence is becoming very clear.

We just need to not allow ourselves to become distracted or mired in the poop they are shoveling.

He might be such an azz that not a lot gets done, but luckily (bad joke) Obama has set a mighty precedent over executive actions, and the power of the executive branch.

I left active duty in 1990, but was involved with the government until 1993 as a contractor. My job in the military was non combat critical, so was trained as a triage specialist in chemical, nuclear, and biological warfare. My job after I left active duty had me working with a military unit that monitored chemical and biological weapons, my only hope is that I am taken out in the first wave.

I think people are paying closer attention, and if they can by their ideaoligies and labels, we may be able work together to continue to be Great. The 15% at either end of the fringe are screaming so loud, the 70% of us in the middle cannot think, or even try to work together to find answers to the problems facing us.

to my fellow vets, while bad choices may have been made, they have been made before, and we are still here. May we all be more active in the political process, and actually get some candidates with some common sense elected.

I truly feel that we have been in World War 3 for very long time already. You could almost say since 9/11. What is a true definition of a World War? To me it's many of our larger countries or nations fighting against perhaps a common cause...that would be terrorism.

Why people believe that any rumors of "conflict" is the sign of a WWlll it takes more than one big mouth leader of a one country to make a war.

The only regime that needs change is the Erdogan regime, he is a danger to Turkey.

The EU is going to have more problems in their hands that just Erdogan warning of refugees flood, the EU has been invaded already.

As for Greece refugees flow will happen if they allowed then to come close to their coast.

What a joke, now that Trump won the election the EU and UN can not expect Trump to keep the nation open to refugees like Obama did.

'Ummah' is an Arabic word meaning "community".
It is distinguished from Sha'b which means a nation with common ancestry or geography. (as Turkey would be)
Thus, it can be said to be a supra-national community with a common history
