A Charlotte police officer who shot and killed a black man at an apartment complex, sparking community unrest, will not face charges, a North Carolina prosecutor said Wednesday.

Scott's family has said he was not armed.

Murray held an extensive news conference and displayed a nearby store's surveillance video showing the outline of what appeared to be a holstered gun on Scott's ankle, and he gave extensive details about other evidence that Scott was armed.

WBTV live stream of family lawyer

And as I type this the family lawyer is having a press conference trying to flame the seeds of hate. Will this start up what happened in Charlotte before?

Saying that he only got off because Charlotte investigated itself.

Good. Justice has prevailed. I only wish there were laws in place (enforced) to go after the family when they pull their leftist garbage, and fan the flames.

Here's the thing, they should NOT investigate themselves..no matter what actually happened, alot of people are not going to accept it.
I'm not giving an opinion on the case itself, just that in these cases an outside entity should do the investigation.

This outcome was predictable from the start. Another false meme that anyone trying to be remotely objective could see right through.

It's only a leftist argument until someone on the right experiences it! If you had a brother or sister who was killed by the police and found out he wasn't armed, I'm sure you would be fighting tooth and nail to get justice for him! There's too much hate and divisiveness in this country. Respecting the rights of individuals to seek justice who lost a loved one is neither a right or left issue. Stop pointing the finger and look at yourself in the mirror. You're part of the problem.

This was never a case of some innocent unarmed guy being gun down... it was a false meme from the start. Mr. Lamont was a convicted felon who served time previously for shooting at a police officer. He was armed.

I am all for holding cops to a higher standard. However, the SJW keep picking the wrong cases to garner any sympathy or prove their point.

I only wish there were laws in place to go after the family of those who post or tweet to fan the flames.

See how retarded that idea is yet?

If I had a brother or sister who was refusing orders from officers to drop their weapon long enough that, at some point, officers determine them to be a threat and shot him or her, then I might understand a bit of "why" concerning that context. What I would not do is use that incident to ignite further hatred in America against cops by posting video of it online (at least, not prior to the finished investigation) or go out and get an attorney that further fans the flames.

Context is what matters, and in this instance, the reality is that this whole handling of the situation, from start to finish, is in parallel with how progressives handle these situations. You may see iTruthSeeker as being part of the problem, but that's like blaming a rusty bolt for a bridge collapse when the entire thing was engineered terribly from the start.

Clearly the snowflakes aren't going to be able to handle this. They're not sensible enough to understand that the investigation saw many more facts and evidence than we did.

It's not "retarded," there are actually laws against such things. Have you ever heard of the term "libel?"

Yes, it is illegal to post things that can be harmful to someone's reputation--it's defamation. Too many times the ignorant posts and tweets (along with the slander against these officers made by talking heads and lawyers and BLM people) result in officers going to trial when they should not, or in the officer receiving death threats and threats to their family, or make them unhireable in other departments due to PR concerns.

So, no, speaking out against the slander and libel that far too often accompanies the ignorant people who speak without much knowledge of these cases is not "retarded," as you claim. iTruthSeeker did no say to go after the family of posters and tweeters, he said to go after the family when the family fans the flames (presumably with inciting statements via facebook, twitter, and video).

You might do well to read my above comment, too. There are absolutely laws against this type of stuff.

It doesn't matter... The Ferguson PD investigated the Michael Brown case, along with Eric Holder's DOJ and the Brown family attorney's hand picked investigation team and none of them were able to produce what the up and coming BLM was willing to accept. Every investigation team in NC, along with the feds could have investigated this and those who demand the answer they're looking for would/will not accept it. This gives them purpose anyways. They live to riot and destroy.

It's definitely a leftist argument. How many protests did you see after Kate Steinle was murdered by an illegal that had already been deported 5 times prior? Did her family and loved ones come together to destroy San Francisco? People gt shot by police all the time, it just never matters unless the suspect/"victim" is black. Instead of rioting and protesting, Steinle's family took it to the courts like normal, classy people do. Instead of rioting and protesting, the people who felt her pain got out and voted.
