Hopefully, a receipt that says "the fine's been paid" will prevent multiple fines for the one crime.

Or, if you Christmas in Boston, don't pick 17th Century Boston, pick a more recent time.

Many people shy away from 'merry christmas' because some have different religions and don't celebrate it. Happy Holidays is more neutral
