He talked to them twice....wow.

I'm waiting for the headline "Trump said he was going to start work at 3am, but sources close to his cleaning staff have confirmed he started at 3.05am yesterday".

It's incredible that a news story can be created out of two conversations with Russia, lol.
I would have thought people would be pleased that he is trying to undo the mess of a relationship Obama created.

I don't think Trump is necessarily 'buddying' up to Russia. I don't believe he knows enough to truly understand what he is getting in to.

Like him saying he was going to bring back torture, but after gaining information from actual generals and intelligence agents about it, he's backing off. So will it be with many things as he comes to understand them. Which as of now, he doesn't. It's been like "OH! they can get more information with beer and cigarettes!!! Who knew?

Not you, Trump.

Realizing he has been wrong about so many things is going to be a depressing shock for him, I do believe.

Yes, but they chose to rent space there. I wonder what kind of deals were struck and how convenient it is to have those princes close by? They didn't just decide to rent because the tower has awesome taco bowls.

Keep your friends close and your enemies closer,
. In all seriousness renting to rich princes would make perfect sense from a business perspective. It's not like Saudi Arabia is paying Trump large sums of money for a few minutes of his time, a private speech or giving him lavish birthday gifts.

Like others have mentioned, Trump and his team communicating with Russia is imperative to bring about the quickest resolution possible in Syria. The alternative choice in president mentioned during the debates that her policy in Syria would be a no fly zone which would have only added fuel to the fire imo.

It's seems to me since joining ATS your goal here is to paint President elect Donald Trump in the most negative light possible, even bending facts to suit your narrative. We can all just watch the mainstream media for that kind of rhetoric. Keep up the ignorance, it is not a cunning as you think it might be and I'm sure many on ATS can see right through the negative propaganda

I get the fear, but this is a capitalist country. It would behoove him and all of us to have a stronger economy. What greedy business man wants a weak country they can't milk money from?

For some people to get so bent over this is amusing. Loud mouth accusers and braggerds. There's always the same tactics and rebuttals to spin this, polish that, and for what? To make a point? What point? I'm led to believe some of you care more about just hammering another person over the head with some twisted cinder block of distorted Truth until the other person grows too weary to care to attempt at having a productive argument or conversation as long as you leave the conversation feeling more valid than the people who try to see all sides of the perspective.

Keep digging those lines of division amongst humanity. It's worked wonders since the dawn of humanity.

I for one would have a pretty committed relationship with Putin concerning the conditions in the Middle East, in fact, I'd try to develope an extreme alliance with Russia since China, India, Pakistan are growing exponentially and needing ever more resources. I'd try to make an agreement with Russia on Oil sales with them as a gesture of good will and prosperity and drop our relationship with Saudi Arabia like a hot rock.

These are just my feelings. My opinion. I don't need to hit anyone over the head saying I'm right or your wrong and I'm not going to get butt hurt with anyone who disagrees with me. Happy Turkey Day to you all. May your Bellies be full and a full glass of booze in your hands.

Your comment was a breath of fresh air. It gets stinky in some of these threads fast.

Or could it be at the moment he trusts Putin more than his own security staff. If he has to clean the mess up, he would want a guarantee that during the navel gazing Russia wouldn't try anything .The deal would be lifting sanctions, and numerous other trade agreements. Russia would want something .

He has only gone to two intelligence meetings so who is he going to act quickly for?

Maybe he thinks these Intelligence Briefings are Influenced by the Present Obama Administration's Failed Policies , and Any Information in them should be Considered Suspect .

If that is true it would mean he is a failure at recognising how the briefings work.

OMG! Like totally TPTB want to enter into WW3 with Russia just like Hillary promised. Dammit Trump can't you incite hatred against Putin instead of seeking to get along with him??

I swear some people want WW3

Is there a reason he shouldn't talk to President Putin?

I imagine they have a lot to talk about. I'm sure Trump mentioned something about defeating the Islamic State, something the Russians are quite keen on seeing gone as well.

OP watch a bit more youtube and listen to putins case - all he needed as leader and protector of russias interest was some friendly reassurance - that new us anti missile systems were not or are not about bullying them

there was supposed to be an agreement etc , but Clinton and cronies ie Obama obviously a greedy snakes and dangerous with world power .

I like Trump more every day myself , and putin is a straight talking ex kgb commander : he helped get russia free of a nasty commie nightmare , can he be that bad?

Things are changing these media ballscratchers of the soon to be ex nwo are overrun with internet : america is currently roasting their nastifiles too ; excelllent

Frosty is being himself before new year
