Everyone knows that Christopher Walken is a great actor. Strange guy, often typecast, yes, but mesmerizing on screen. I thought I'd share a few of my favorite Christopher Walken scenes and hope to hear from you about which are yours.

I'd have a hard time ranking my favorite Walken movies, but I know that Deerhunter, True Romance, and King of New York are among the top three.

Here's a great scene from King of New York:

Here's a scene between two greats- Walken and Dennis Hopper True Romance:

More cowbell:

And here's Walken in a Fat Boy Slim vid, dancing like a champ:

It's awesome that you posted this right now because I just finished watched Pulp Fiction for the 100th time and I was admiring his scene as the war buddy of young Bruce.

Awesome monologue that goes from very serious to completely obsured At the drop of a dime. If I was not mobile I would post it.
Of course the director of that movie used to make great films so it's no surprise , but I digress...

Anywho great thread and I'm looking forward to some contributions.. if I am sober enough when I get home I'll try to post some .. I especially appreciated him in Batman Returns...

Ps I have a friend who does a great "Christopher walken Christmas song" bit And I hope to one day put to acoustic guitar him reciting Christmas songs in walken voice ... it's always a hit at the holiday work party.

You had it with the first movie, except the scene where
he caught the embezzler in his midst. "What about the money?"
"Burn it with him."
As much as he hates firearms, the Russian Roulette scenes from
Deer Hunter. I imagine those were real Hell for him to do.

Why bother being President of the US when you can be King a NY?

You're absolutely right. That was a chilling line, and skillfully delivered.

Hey thanks! Yes a great scene indeed. How did he keep a straight face delivering it? All part of his weirdness I guess.
Thanks to ketsuko for finding it.

oops I accidentally posted this as its own thread but yeah most of you won't know about this movie but it's one of Christopher Walken's best monologues I think.
