Here's my true but overly dramatic story. Many years ago, I'd spent a few years "away" from civilization while trying to get my spirituality right.
Think of it like a break from pop culture, big cities, and people in general so that I could relearn my religion and purpose in life. I'd almost
reached true enlightenment, realizing I had but 3 weaknesses remaining. But I was too impatient to complete my spiritual journey, so I returned to
civilization, completely expecting to preach to the world about our higher purpose.
But unknown to me, yoga pants/leggings had become a new trend. I stopped at a gas station and this amazingly fine woman in leggings walked by. I felt
my heart start racing so I quickly lowered my gaze. I couldn't allow myself to be tempted by such an easy test! A few seconds later I looked back up,
only to see her still walking maybe 25ft away. The view was hypnotic... until she looked back at me, looking me right in the eye as if to say "I know
you're looking. Stop perving!". I felt embarrassed and lowered my gaze again.
That lasted maybe 20seconds until a car pulled up to the pump next to me. Yoga pants again! And as I glanced around, I saw maybe another 4 or 5
additional eye candy...er, displays of yoga garments. Needless to say, I was smitten. I got to a friend's house and immediately asked her "What's
going on out here? I'd seen several women in spandex and uhh, let's just say it was nullifying my spiritual training." My friend laughed at me and
said they were "yoga pants" not spandex, that they were better than jeans because they were virtually guaranteed to fit, and they even kept you warm
in the cold.
I won't bore you with my experiences after this, but let's just say that I'm become an avid supporter of them. LOL Uhh, I mean, I support any woman's
right to wear them as often as they want. There is never a bad time for yoga pants as long as ladies feel comfortable in them (note: unless you're
family. then eww, put on some clothes. All other ladies though, feel free to wear what makes you comfortable, especially if it's yoga pants.
