I'm with you. Alot of people gauge sanity based off of does your ideas fit in with society.

But society has gone of the fuc#ing deep end with no rhyme, reason, direction or general idea of the end goal.

So I think they're insane... Or maybe it's me...

LOOK WHAT YOU DID HERE! I want the funnies back haha.

I do not believe that has ever been an option for me.

I consider myself very lucky in some respects, that I need not pay attention to whether I look good or not. All I could do with a sharp suit is ruin its lines, after all!

Haha I like how it's call gym kit across the pond.

Most Americans aren't familiar with the definition of "gym", so you may have to explain that one.

Here, men, is our solution. All the bulge of yoga pants, all the gentlemanly class of jeans.

Ha my 3 yr old son just saw that pic and said "Look at that f-a-r-t!" (He spelled it out, pointing to the letters on her knickers)

I wish my farts were able to spell out words. There would HAVE to be a way to make money off that!

Adults can wear whatever they like as far as I'm concerned so long as it doesn't affect my life.
Men wanna wear shape hugging leggings? Go for it.
Women wanna wear them, even camel toe for effect? Go for it.

I reserve the right to be amused and swallow the small amount of sick which may have risen to my mouth.

...In my town I do struggle to remember what women wore before Primark started selling black leggings a few years ago lol

You dont personally have the figure to pull this off.

Let's take a look at the opposite end of the spectrum for a moment. Are parachute pants really pants?

Haha, not so much camel toe action going on now though, or the next few months, weather has turned horrible so they're hiding under long coats.

My wife likes leggings (just started getting into them), but she definitely wears a top long enough to cover her bootay. I agree that there is a classier way to wear them, and an unacceptable way. Too many do it the unacceptable way.

Hey, I ain't gonna lie. I would look like a lumpy sack of crap if I wore leggings and a top that was too short/tight to cover my goods. But I have a level of consideration for others that allows me to properly cover myself up before leaving the house.

And I'm not just being jealous/catty. Most of the ladies wearing them yesterday had nice figures. They even had kids with them, so I was extra impressed with their level of fitness. But... I just really think you should cover yo booty if you choose to wear them in public. Just my opinion. Obviously people can do whatever they feel. As long as it didn't involve sitting on a commonly shared surface I wouldn't even care if people wanted to go out in the nude.

* As I was coming back into my apartments I saw a girl heavier than me in spandex pants and a halter top. BUT she had headphones and was walking with her mail, so she had clearly been working out and checked the mail. I had absolutely no problem with her. In fact, kudos to that chick for putting in the effort to get in shape. But working out and going to the grocery store are 2 different things.

I'm sure women like wearing them because their comfortable to wear. Those who have shapely bodies are probably wearing them to show off their assets and because they're comfortable. It sure doesn't leave much for the imagination.

As a father, I've always told my daughter to respect herself. In my day, women who dressed showing too much of their assets were usually not considered for a serious relationship. Most of the guys I hung around with liked women who dressed with class and respected themselves. Someone who flaunts their assets like Kim Kardashian end up marrying a-holes like Kanye West. Women who flaunt their assets will attract men who only care about sex, and care less about the person.

Times sure have changed. I don't mean to offend, but more women today talk like truckers and I still can't get used to women having tattoos, piercing their noses and dying their hair in crazy unnatural bright colors. Tattoos are too masculine and they take away from a women's natural beauty. Men might as well date a bull with those nose and tongue piercings.

Here's my true but overly dramatic story. Many years ago, I'd spent a few years "away" from civilization while trying to get my spirituality right. Think of it like a break from pop culture, big cities, and people in general so that I could relearn my religion and purpose in life. I'd almost reached true enlightenment, realizing I had but 3 weaknesses remaining. But I was too impatient to complete my spiritual journey, so I returned to civilization, completely expecting to preach to the world about our higher purpose.

But unknown to me, yoga pants/leggings had become a new trend. I stopped at a gas station and this amazingly fine woman in leggings walked by. I felt my heart start racing so I quickly lowered my gaze. I couldn't allow myself to be tempted by such an easy test! A few seconds later I looked back up, only to see her still walking maybe 25ft away. The view was hypnotic... until she looked back at me, looking me right in the eye as if to say "I know you're looking. Stop perving!". I felt embarrassed and lowered my gaze again.

That lasted maybe 20seconds until a car pulled up to the pump next to me. Yoga pants again! And as I glanced around, I saw maybe another 4 or 5 additional eye candy...er, displays of yoga garments. Needless to say, I was smitten. I got to a friend's house and immediately asked her "What's going on out here? I'd seen several women in spandex and uhh, let's just say it was nullifying my spiritual training." My friend laughed at me and said they were "yoga pants" not spandex, that they were better than jeans because they were virtually guaranteed to fit, and they even kept you warm in the cold.

I won't bore you with my experiences after this, but let's just say that I'm become an avid supporter of them. LOL Uhh, I mean, I support any woman's right to wear them as often as they want. There is never a bad time for yoga pants as long as ladies feel comfortable in them (note: unless you're family. then eww, put on some clothes. All other ladies though, feel free to wear what makes you comfortable, especially if it's yoga pants.
)

I dunno know, man. I've heard things like that from my elders. But then I did a little research and realized that prostitution and all around "freakiness" existed back then, too. People may be more open about it now, but let's not pretend that older generations didn't get drunk together and have orgies (among other things). I think they only acted spiritual in public, just as most parents tell their children to do things the "right way", even if they didn't do it themselves.

I even ran into some good old songs from then that prove my point, like these:
