Boiling coffee destroys its flavor profile. There's a reason you start with fresh cold water. It's oxygenated.
You would think a percolator would keep it oxygenated by its action, but it doesn't.
We've perfected better methods for making coffee. Those who haven't embraced them are -
1. Probably wasting a valuable and expensive commodity.
2. Missing out on a truly great cup of coffee.
