I've been pulling back from politics due to the environment we're in. ATS is the only place I discuss it. I even stopped on my own FB page.
The last thing I need is some idiot high on political religion thinking it justified to hurt me or my family.
Than said, don't do stupid things with stupid people in stupid places.
It will keep you from getting shot.

To be fair, I do not think the correlation implies causation in this case. He most likely got shot because of the argument.
Walker said she doesn’t think the Trump comment led to the incident and that the alleged shooter was looking for trouble.

Let me guess.. They were both Black? Democrat policies have thoroughly screwed the Black communities.
BTW.. That website has a lot of nerve, playing a COMMERCIAL before the important video. I closed it.
Walker says the man in the white jacket in the surveillance video, who is Hispanic, tried to talk to her as she went back into the bar to retrieve her phone.
She says he then said something disrespectful.
"And Mitchell was like, 'What did he say to you?'" she said.
She says Mormon and the man began arguing. She says Mormon jokingly told the man he voted for Donald Trump and he would be gone next week.
Walker says the argument continued, the shooter went around the corner, came back with a gun and opened fire.
She wants the shooter off the street.
"Please, if anybody knows anything, please, this was so senseless. This was so horrible," she said through tears.
Walker doesn't think the comment about Trump played a role in the shooting. She says the gunman was intent on causing chaos from the very beginning.

That's a hate crime, pure and simple.

I disagree with this.
You shouldn't have to be afraid for your life by simply having a different opinion.
But here we are. In fear for our lives, our families lives, simply because we don't agree politically.
There's no way to fully protect yourself. This stuff creates collateral damage and you could just be a bystander or they could just indiscriminately attack people.
I say you should just live life the way you want. Don't let anyone intimidate you or scare you into silence.
Is America the home of the Brave? Or the Coward? That's all that matters in the end man. We all die eventually, but few of us really live.
