What band is underrated in your opinion?

Just curious what bands you all feel are underrated? For me I think that 10 Years is one of those bands.

Pretty good song there.

Queens of the Stone Age.

This is honest music and quite original. Solid rock and roll.

Always thought VAST was underrated. Much older band.



Newish group. The Weepies. Songs alternate female and male vocals.

The Church

The La's from the 90's. They only had one album but for some reason that album just always seemed well put together.

VIZA!

I was very lucky to witness this band before they went their seperate ways earlier this year. First recordings are more world music, later more rocky!

They appeared at the Sviget festival, you can certainly see from the first track to the last track that they really connected with the audience.

Nickleback.


They make The Beatles and Zep look like a bunch of Neanderthals banging on some logs.

I always default to Streetlight Manifesto when this is asked of me. (their newest album, although their older stuff is as good, if not better)


Mad Caddies are quite good, too, (this is a live recording of a performance in Paris...quality is good)


as are The Fratellis. (Their songs "Henrietta" and "Chelsea Dagger")

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club and The Brian Jonestown Massacre for sure. These aren't groundbreaking bands, but they make some great music.
