I mean, this whole site could be a honey pot.

It could be an elaborate ruse, filled with crazies, half truths, and the occasional person with an actual true conspiracy.

How do we know it isn't designed that way on purpose to catch folks and "correct" them?

How do we know this isn't all just a way to catch dissidents?

Anyone who reads what is on this site will know it has so much ignorance that it makes a mockery of the site's name. There is really no danger that anyone who actually "knows stuff" will post on this site. They are way too smart for that.

Good question and everyone asked this since day one. ATS is designed for spreading “disinformation” not “information”!

Knowing this, then no one knows too much anyway!

It's hard for me to explain, but I don't believe this world is the true reality.

I think it's more of an illusion, designed to entrap us in materialism, in exchange for our very souls.

The mind is a hell of a thing.

I've been having very... very... strange dreams.

Alternate realities, dreams so real they feel like life. Taste, smell, touch, pain.

Personally, and this may sound crazy, but I think humanity may be trapped in a sort of simulation.

Meanwhile the vast majority of us feed a never ending stream of meta data into social media and email - with barely a concern or thought to what level of minutia we're sharing.

All while super computers the world 'round analyze it in real time.

And that's just the tip of the information iceberg. Bank records, security cameras, public records... all parsed and compared.

Sorry... TPTB don't need a corner of the web to use as a honeypot. The whole world has become one.

thats only a small part of the program. It is mostly to gather meta data for those of us who do not utilize the establishment social media system. Once you logon, your location is logged, ISP is automatically traced, and user data is siphoned into the database.
