This book is a raw look at what police work does to regular people, it is not a "woe is me book." He uses humor and anecdotes to prove some important points and bridge the gap between cops and civillians.

After seeing some of the misunderstandings that have lead to all out battle royales lately here on the message boards, I think this may be pertanent reading for many of us. Just so that we see that we can all be on the same page..... at least sometimes.
