Who in the world even implied that anything like that is going to happen?
All states are still under the rules of the Constitution.
People are getting a bit hysterical over nothing.
If people are being this naive, no wonder people are rioting.
They have lost their minds, or have been seriously misled.

Trump has a history being a liberal. It's a fact that I am clinging to and causes me to give him my open mind and well wishes. I hope he backpeddles on some of his extreme ideas and decides he just wants to go down in history as being a fabulous president. I am socially liberal....yay if he leads the republicans that direction, even if it means breaking campaign promises. I want him to break bad promises.
I still want fiscal conservatism though.
I do not like some of the comical, backward-thinking ultra-conservative asswipes he is surrounding himself with though.
Drain the swamp...that's what Trump said that resonates with me.

You cannot equate inter-racial marriage to gay marriage. That dog don't hunt, and the argument is one that's been gone over many, many times.
But if it makes you feel better to think what you think ... whatever.
My mixed marriage thanks you for your bigoted assumptions.

I find it most amusing that the left saw Armageddon coming from a Trump presidency, and now that he is moderating many of his positions (as many who voted for him expected he would) the left is even more terrified of him.
I suspect the real fear there is that he might actually do a half decent job.
I still kind of shocked the right actually believe his conservative positions.

You have Yoda for your avatar pick. Use it. In the words of Yoda, "It is only different in your mind."

I have this theory. Gay marriage doesn't hurt heterosexual marriages in this country one iota. What hurts marriage in this country is "divorce". Divorce is the number one threat to marriage.

Seriously? This dog hunts all day. How does two men or two women being married affect your life in any way? If it makes you feel any better, the mother of my children is half mexican, and my grown ass son has been stopped and asked for his papers. He graduated Bishop Ward High School and Rockhurst. My daughter has been spared as she has my fair complexion, green eyes, and my mothers blonde hair. How does gay marriage affect your life, it affects mine in no way.

Our culture and language have been affected, which affects our lives. Negatively, in my opinion.
