Who in the world even implied that anything like that is going to happen?
All states are still under the rules of the Constitution.
People are getting a bit hysterical over nothing.
If people are being this naive, no wonder people are rioting.
They have lost their minds, or have been seriously misled.

Indeed.

I, in particular, look forward to his inner city initiatives, where he will likely help those communities more than the left ever did.

Yea because the right doesn't block him starting a bunch of entitlements.

But people believe these things, and by not following through with them, their religious freedom is being infringed. Ask black people how the constitution worked for them, for the first 150 years of our existence as a country.

I said most.

You cannot equate inter-racial marriage to gay marriage. That dog don't hunt, and the argument is one that's been gone over many, many times.

But if it makes you feel better to think what you think ... whatever.

My mixed marriage thanks you for your bigoted assumptions.

Which is another reason that SCOTUS picks were an election issue. A lot of people disagree with teh SCOTUS.

Trump has a history being a liberal. It's a fact that I am clinging to and causes me to give him my open mind and well wishes. I hope he backpeddles on some of his extreme ideas and decides he just wants to go down in history as being a fabulous president. I am socially liberal....yay if he leads the republicans that direction, even if it means breaking campaign promises. I want him to break bad promises.

I still want fiscal conservatism though.

I do not like some of the comical, backward-thinking ultra-conservative asswipes he is surrounding himself with though.

Drain the swamp...that's what Trump said that resonates with me.

Maybe this time I will get his name spelled right. Talking about selecting Jamie Dimon is not exactly draining the swamp. It's like giving the swamp creatures steroids.

What fiscal conservatism? BRING ON THE STIMULUS!!!!

"Here’s a surprising conclusion you reach when you start to game out what economic policy will look like in Donald J. Trump’s administration: While many details of his policy agenda are likely to be staunchly opposed by the left, Mr. Trump appears likely to enact a fun-house mirror version of what many liberal economists have advocated for years: Keynesian fiscal stimulus."

I agree Trump won't deliver his promises and he flip flops constantly but are you upset gays can get married?

I have this theory. Gay marriage doesn't hurt heterosexual marriages in this country one iota. What hurts marriage in this country is "divorce". Divorce is the number one threat to marriage.

I find it most amusing that the left saw Armageddon coming from a Trump presidency, and now that he is moderating many of his positions (as many who voted for him expected he would) the left is even more terrified of him.

I suspect the real fear there is that he might actually do a half decent job.

I still kind of shocked the right actually believe his conservative positions.

No, we know he isn't a true conservative. But he is a hell of a lot more conservative that Hillary. Assuming his pro-capitalism agenda bears fruit (and it should) he's opening the door for a real conservative to step in after Trump is done. In the meantime he'll hopefully be shrinking the bureaucracy and making the SCOTUS a lot more conservative.

Seriously? This dog hunts all day. How does two men or two women being married affect your life in any way? If it makes you feel any better, the mother of my children is half mexican, and my grown ass son has been stopped and asked for his papers. He graduated Bishop Ward High School and Rockhurst. My daughter has been spared as she has my fair complexion, green eyes, and my mothers blonde hair. How does gay marriage affect your life, it affects mine in no way.

ETA: Both of my children were born on Military installations, as I defended a country that my ancestors came to in 1621.

Lygeny and Ligandry don't hurt Marriage one iota. What hurts marriage is defining it as something it is not.

Divorce hurts Marriage (and Lygeny and Ligandry) only so long as people can get divorced easily.

sorry liberals now you can`t call him a homophobe anymore not that you had any reason to think he was one in the first place.
Don`t pout you still have racists, sexist and few other nasty names you can still call him, at least until he proves that he isn`t any of those things either.
looks like the liberals smear campaign against Trump is having the legs knocked out from under it one leg at a time.
don`t believe everything that Hillary told you or you may end up looking like a fool.

I think you hit the nail on the head. All these protestors don't want trump because he may actually get something done and they will be proven wrong. They were led to believe lies and parroted them and now there is going to be people telling them they were very wrong. If they eliminate Trump, then nobody will have any proof that they believed Hillary's lies.

These liberals are trying to protect their own reputation and making fools of themselves in the process. Never get hung up on politics, it will make you crazy. All politicians seem to lie, some are just better at hiding it or twisting evidence to make them look right. Trump is not a good Liar, Hillary is really good.

Our culture and language have been affected, which affects our lives. Negatively, in my opinion.

I haven't participated in any "riots" ...uh, I mean peaceful marches. I think they reason why they may be so upset is they are sick and tire of gay bashing verbally and physically and they see Trump's campaign rhetoric alarming. They just don't want to go back to the old days when it was okay to beat the shiite out of a homo because he dressed funny and talked swooshy.

I really don't understand the same-sex marriage issue at all. Someone please explain to me why this is such and important issue. I don't get. Homosexuals make up 2-4% of our population. They are hardly noticeable. There are 7 billion people on the planet. I doubt there's any threat to heterosexual copulation frequencies anytime soon.
