Another success for the people of Iraq as the Iraqi army announce they have taken the ancient Assyrian city of Nimrud from the Troglodytes of
Daesh.
Nimrud was founded more than 3,300 years ago and is held as one of most important archaeological sites in the world , it remains to be seen how much
of Iraq's cultural heritage has been destroyed by the backward looking heathens.
An Iraqi military statement said: "Troops from the Ninth Armoured Division liberated Nimrud town completely and raised the Iraqi flag above its
buildings after inflicting loss of life and equipment on the so-called Islamic State."

Congratulations go out to the brave fighters of the Iraqi Armed Forces who are reclaiming their land and helping rid the world of this Pox.
As the days , weeks , months pass Daesh is slowly being consigned to the dustbin of history.
