A couple of days ago I saw a story about the Consumer Confidence Index falling unexpectedly in January.
(
U.S. Consumer Confidence Unexpectedly Fell in January)
Today I see a story from the
same source about the Consumer Confidence Index rising to a six month high.
(
U.S. January Consumer Confidence Index Rises )
So which is it?
Is such a large swing possible in 3 days?
If so then why bother reporting the numbers for January before the month is over?
Is this market manipulation?
Is it any wonder we can't make heads or tails of economic information these days?
