Have to say from the media exposure here jn the UK I would agree trump voters are low brow. Now every here on ATS thinks they are intelligent/knowledgeable and less susceptible to basic human behaviours because they are "aware".

From all media interview with trump supporters ( the passionate ones that go to the events to support that is) they are what I would consider the term low brow. When pushed for why they are voting trump, none could explain why they voted trump outside "immigrants, muslims and Clinton is a criminal".
Even the ones that I perceived to be intelligent/articulated certain sentences well with a perceived k owledge on policies finalised their points with " wooooooooo trump".

From what I saw ( saw alot, British media was on it this year) none of the trump supporters displayed any empathy for foreign people. One even said we are fed up of Clinton and great Britain (lmao). All I have seen is they repeat the main limited hatred points trump said, rather than his policies in which he is trying to do good.

I'm "aware" (lol) the media is trying to portray trump supporters as uneducated hate mongering inbred and Clinton supporters as good wholesome beautiful families but they don't help themselves when they make it that easy for the media. Editors most probably took the week off.

Either way I wiuld agree, based simply on exposure and the countless interviews I have seen and heard with both parties, I would say trump supporters did fall hook line and sinker for the the hatred.

1 - There are few million votes outstanding in a few states that have not been tallied for the popular vote.
2 - 600,000+/- is not a majority in the sense you are trying to portray it as.
3 - Our elections are based on the electoral college and not the popular vote.
4 - The attempt to try and get the electoral college to vote for Clinton is flawed and that is because the majority of people calling for it have absolutely no clue how the electoral college even works.

Here is a hint -
When a state is called for a candidate, the electors chosen are from that party. Good luck trying to get enough Republican electors to vote Hillary on the 19th of December.

Why would that decision change? What has she done since then for voters to change their minds? Well that can be argued, what can't is how she managed to entangled herself in and be associated with a very avoidable email scandal and the murder of a US Ambassador.

She was already the runner up, the second best Democrats had to offer. No divine intervention was ever needed to beat her. She is the Scottie Pippen to Obama's Jordan.

My parents were teens during the Hitler years. I heard their stories. I am living through this time where muslims blow people up because they are not religious enough, where sharia courts exist in the UK, where women are treated like dogs because of culture and religion, where rime and shooting is rife in some cultures but I am not allowed to point this out.

Guess what I am saying is that nobody can just get up on a pedestal and spout 'hatred' about completely innocent people and expect followers.

What really happens [and happened back in the old German days] was that some people really took the piss out of the natives. I don't want to tell you about starving Germans that couldn't get a job because some jewish people decided that they would only hire fellow jews, but I have to.
I personally love immigrants and people of all colours as long as they are fair and peaceful and contribute to the good of all.
However when 'guests' behave as if they own the country and demand those whose country it really is to either suffer or having to change their way for those newcomers, then they are abusing their welcome.

Natives [and immigrants who happen to like the country and the customs of their chosen country] will eventually get pissed off and ask for justice. Couple this with governments that will not listen to general public and belittle them and call them racists in order to shut them up, do not help.

Then along comes someone who does listen. Hitler listened. Up to him going completely gaga and killing humans, he was doing actually better than anyone before him. He sorted the inflation, build motorways that helped the infrastructure and commerce, he was the first one ever to make a law against animal cruelty, he created jobs that could be taken by Germans and I swear, Germany was happy and thriving. Also almost nobody knew about the mass murder.

Now you are blaming Trump for being voted in to use Hitlers ways.
The only ways I can see is that of:

- Listening to the majority, instead of calling them names.

It was those that kept undermining people, insulting them when they had actual reasons for being concerned. People like YOU. You actually helped Trump. By telling us everything is fine, when people with personal experiences tell you it isn't. By calling people racists when they are worried about unchecked immigrants. Didn't many MANY people admit to voting for Trump not because they liked or supported him but because they DID NOT want Hillary winning? Can't you understand that in the end, this election wasn't about voting for the better candidate but voting for the lesser of two evils?

Yea, he used the whole blame game to attract voters but IMO he was a genius in doing so. After all the racial tension that accumulated throughout Obama's presidency, the whole black vs white civil unrest the media has been constantly streaming, even here on ATS there were daily threads about violence between different races, so yea, you're damn right people would jump to vote for a man talking about putting an end to it.

I highly doubt anyone sees Trump anywhere close to a father figure. And I'm sure most would admit that he's probably not the Best choice as president. But, he's not Hillary. So he's the BETTER choice. Get it?
