Except that's not the issue here. The issue is what's actually happening. What's actually happening is lefty Dems' are now utterly destroying their communities because they can't accept reality. They're beating up real people, human beings, because their twisted ideology is more valuable to them than human life.

The fact that Trump called for riots doesn't surprise me, he's an idiot. The Sheriff too. To hell with them all, but don't deny the reality of what's actually happening.

um.. like we did the two times Obama was elected?

What does that have to do with my post? Or are you denying that there were people here calling for a revolution in Hillary won?
who exactly would be revolting? think about this logically for a minute. Trumps people are farmers, workers, and people you don't normally encounter. Why? because they are working. We are working. Why? because we have to in order to support out families on the low income we have come to expect due to the over 8 year recession.

Show me where anyone said we need to riot in the streets and burn buildings and business down. Show me that.

You want to protest, good. Make a sign, and march. Keep your attitude in check. If you get violent, expect to be punished. It's the laws I live with and the same ones you MUST live with.

To everyone thinking these are just stupid kids breaking their own neighborhoods and crying, you have no idea of the anger and resentment that is now felt by young people that will soon be directed at any government bearing the name of Trump.

I hate to break it to you, but the right wing scared safe space liberal narrative is a lie. I'm a millennial, and even I'm not sure what has just awoken. But it's big, and its going to be scary to a lot of the establishment Trump types.

Ya'll should have though about all this before you picked Anti-2nd as one of your pet peeves.

Exactly. The guy wouldn't even agree to concede the election if he lost. And I've been hearing the right wing talk about "2nd Amendment solutions" for years.

You LOST!!!!!!! I'm sorry.

But I'm more sorry that we have an entire group of people that have no idea how to deal with defeat! Are you guys really that pathetic? Can you guys really not handle this? I have seen videos of men being pulled out of their car and beaten because they are white (they have no idea how he voted).

A newscaster on CNN is losing his $hit calling this a "whitelash" even though there were two WHITE people running for President.

Your candidate LOST! Get over it and move on!!!!!

*****Go attack the DNC who STOLE the election from Bernie!!!

I've only heard of anti-gun liberals on this site, honestly. Everyone I know in real life is nothing like the narrative I've seen pushed for so long.

Yes. Your generation and others have to let them know that you "want it more, stronger and longer than they want to keep it from you. That's the moment you win."

If it is done violently, however, you will lose. Any violence at the moment is the momentary anger. You must continue in the future non-violently, even though you will deliberately be incited to do violence. Stand strong. Stand together. Stand united.

Standing together silently, knowing you stand together with One Voice, will make the govt fear you.

Singing together non-violently will cause govt to fear you. Govt does not fear guns, for they know they can take you down. But standing united, that is what they fear.

I feel sorry for your ilk, seeing nothing wrong with violent protest and assaulting innocents.

And yet it was Trump that talked to them directly and said (paraphrasing) "try me...what have you got to lose."

I exist in a world among lots of millennials. Some of them are already on their way to success because their parents taught them how to succeed and also what to do when you lose. The ones that are successful and happy did not buy into the stupidity that everyone deserves a trophy for just showing up. Their parents taught them that that is bogus and unhealthy.

Unfortunately, many of them didn't have those kinds of parents and these kids grew up in the social experimental period where they were treated with kid gloves and never allowed to feel anything other than winning, even when they really didn't win. They were coddled to, allowed to misbehave, and "set their own direction" without any boundaries.

If you listened to Trump more than one or two times....really listened to him....then you will understand that helping the disadvantaged especially in the inner cities is of utmost importance to him. It won't be by giving them handouts, but it will be by jobs and infrastructure improvements, and educational choices, and securing the borders to lessen the tide of illegal drugs and gang bangers coming into your neighborhoods.

He KNOWS that the Democrats absolutely need these poverty-stricken areas and hopeless populations because for fifty years or better they have held a carrot out to them dangling on a stick in order to get votes and remain in power.

I'm not out there rioting so you can keep your accusations to yourself.

And don't play dumb. Here are a few threads I was in that had members talking about a revolution if Trump lost.

www.abovetopsecret.com...
www.abovetopsecret.com...

And here's another thread I was in where people were debating if a new Civil War was brewing.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

These are just 3 threads, not posts, from the last 2 weeks that I've personally participated in. But I guess they never happened because they don't fit your perspective?

ETA: And you might want to read a post before replying to it. I said Trump supporters were calling for a revolution. Don't move the goalpost, although I'm sure that "2nd Amendment remedies" don't involve repeatedly reading the 2nd Amendment to politicians until they change their ideas.

Actions speak louder than words. Your hypothetical what if scenarios are not at play. What is at play is rioting and it needs to (and will) stop.

These idiots are in for a very rude awakening if they keep pushing.

I agree. But not everyone thinks like me. Most liberals have spent the last year being called touchy feely douchebags while being told they're wasting their time peacefully protesting and speaking their mind. "Get a job!" "Do something real with your life!" Blah blah blah.

I don't see a lot of people wanting to peacefully protest, mainly because peaceful protesters have been made fun of so much by the right and delegitimized so much by everyone else. When you make it impossible for a peaceful protest to be respected, you open the door for the other kind of protest.

LOL Nowhere in my posts did I say rioting or negative marches are ok. So you can keep that crap to yourself too. In fact, if you've actually read my posts, you'd know that I think marches and protests are a waste of time. People who are truly pissed off with the system should learn the system, get in it, and then make the changes themselves. Because marches and protests are simply begging people in power to change their behavior, which rarely works.

But that doesn't change the fact that there were Trump supporters who were openly calling for a revolution if Hillary won. That's what I said in my 1st post and it's a fact. So if anything, it wasn't my hypothetical, it was theirs.

OK so what exactly are you guys wanting from these protest? Are you expecting to change the election outcome?

I've listened to every public speech Trump has given in the last year, and I haven't heard any of that. And this is part of the problem. As I said in another thread, Trumps words are wide open to interpretation, and everyone's favorite thing to do is beat each other over the head with their own interpretations of what he said.

This is what a lot of the division we're seeing is based on. A president has to make himself explicitly clear on what he's saying, his motives, and who he's talking to or they risk what we're seeing now. The presidents words have a power that Trump just seems to shrug off, either from ignorance or not caring. Either prospect is frightening, given the power he's about to receive.
