Millions upon millions of gun owners, the large group of silent people would awake and would descend upon their state capitols. The police would stand down, the military would stand down.

Regards the whole faithless electors thing, I've had a few different people mention this to me in PMs.

This is my response to them:

I've had the surreal feeling the entire time that something was still in the works and that somehow the evil conniving # would end up there after all.

If you look at the county by county map, it is obvious where the overwhelming majority of America feels our direction should be. We both know that Hillary's only support is manufactured of useful idiots or leeches. No one with any awareness of the world stage actually wants to see Hillary sit in the chair.

Some would cheer, some would meh, some would fight.

Of course, if you think the protests are bad now, wait til this stunt gets pulled. Pushing all the buttons of all the people who would NOT like the solution proposed in your message is bound to create a similar reaction to what Soros has paid for, but it would be organic and more sincere in it's efforts.

Might the faithless electors ploy precipitate action by state militias or perhaps even elements in the military?

Then toss in what SERIOUSLY pissed off intel agents might do...

You got the whole #show coming down if what you propose is in the works.

I could see that almost overcoming the general apathy and desire to keep the status quo enough to spark a civil war.

Couldn't agree with you more. Too much at stake for them and I think they'll be more than willing to risk some social unrest if that means they get to have a fighting chance.

Basically, the choice is:

1)Keep power with pockets of civil unrest and simply flee when things turn south or
2)Give up everything that defines who they are, quietly and peacefully.


If there are no real hard laws in place to stop this kind of thing, (and I can't find any) I see very little reason why they won't try to overturn electoral college votes

it will be getting cold soon then if cnn and msnbc happen to stop inciting this stuff, which they wont then they will eventually get bored and stop. Trump is president and that's that, just like no contested convention for Bernie and Trump not having enough electoral votes was all nonsense.

We are witnessing something unique and special! These riots and challenges are the EARLY symptoms of resistance that occurs when you're attempting to purge entrenched establishments from power. They will throw all they have at President Trump, while going down the drain.
