A lot of shifts and changes will continue to occur as the apple cart rights itself. I'm old enough to give it time, reflection and to keep an open, anticipatory outlook.

I should have studied something else along with CS. I just kind of fell into Philosophy, And believe it or not, it's the reason I opened the bar. I used to bartend and manage a bar while going to school - I needed the money - unlike many of the other students at Cornell. Classic college bar, 6 deep at the bar on 50 cent wings and $2 pitchers night.

But the owner and I got along great. So when I graduated he was trying to bust my chops and said "what are you going to do with a degree in Philosophy"? Busting his right back I said maybe I'll open a bar, you d-bag. He said are you serious about that? I said maybe - why?

He said let's do it together - I'll put up all the cash and you do all the work and we'll be partners 50/50.

And the rest is history or infamy...

True story.

Bar is still open and is doing well last I heard.

The next few weeks and months will be very interesting - I agree.

And then on January 20th....

From where I'm sitting, here is where we are: 1 - The Dow exploded on Wall Street 2 - Putin says screw WW3 3 - Canada's Prime Minister is good to renegotiate NAFTA And Mexico is down with the above, Israel is on board and his ass isn't even in office yet. This is a good thing that's happening. Logic over feelings kids. Get a grip folks!
