Hillary Clinton and the DNC Have Only Themselves to Blame

This is what happens when a major political party rigs the primaries to nominate their preferred candidate

Hillary Clinton and the Democrats have no one to blame but themselves for Donald Trump winning. The mainstream media couldn’t have helped Clinton anymore than they did, and Trump couldn’t have tried any harder to lose.

Because Clinton would have easily lost to a moderate Republican, her campaign coordinated with the DNC to elevate Trump as a legitimate candidate, and declared war on anyone who opposed Clinton’s coronation.

Click link for article...

A small article yet, imo, very accurate as to what occurred. Some of the issues he brought up about blame are already occurring and for some reason Democrat's and the liberal left media can't seem to understand that they themselves are to blame for their loss.

Not Putin...
Not wikileaks..
Not Bernie Sanders...
Not Bernie supporters...
Not third party candidates...

Themselves... their selfishness... their arrogance... their self importance... their holier than thou elite mentality...

The American people voted to keep the Senate in Republican hands.
The American people voted to keep the House in Republican hands.
The American people voted a Republican into the White House.

The majority of Americans did not like the direction the nation was going and instead of listening to the people Democrats ignored them. I would imagine most if not all Democrats missed the times when Trump stated he wants to work with everyone, regardless of party, to try and fix America. He said it again tonight during his victory speech when he could have just as easily trashed the Democrats and cut them out of the loop by highlighting the fact the Republicans kept the House and Senate.

Does anyone think Democrats will learn their lesson and fix their rectal-cranial inversion or do you think they will continue to blame anyone and everyone else.

The DNC knew Clinton was a weak candidate and relied on Machiavellian tactics and an elitist circle of mainstream media insiders to manufacture consent for her candidacy. Their strategy backfired, and there is no one else to blame for Clinton’s loss and Donald Trump’s win.

We have an amazing opportunity to work together and fix what's not working. Let's not squander it.

When you boil it all down, this was a referendum on the last 8 miserable years.

Economically
Foreign policy
Obamacare
2nd Amendment
Nanny-state

All these issues were on the table.

H.A. Goodman said essentially exactly what you just expressed. He went further and said that he's going to enjoy watching the Democrats have to deal with the position they've put themselves in.

To be honest I think the Democrats can work with Trump. He is not a career politician, he used to be a Democrat before he became a Republican and he is used to dealing with people from a business aspect rather than from a political aspect.

Because of that I think Trump will support any ideas, regardless of where or whom they come from, if it solves problems. Had it been anyone else but Trump I would not be making the same comments.

IMO Literally ANY other candidate would have defeated Trump. Good job DNC, you had to cheat to lose the presidency.

Agreed, and I would point out that this is now the third straight national election that the Democrats have clearly lost without Barack Obama on the ballot. Over that span, they've lost the House, they've lost the Senate, they've lost the Governorships, they've lost the state houses, and now, they've lost the presidency and likely the Supreme Court. Its time for them to practice some introspection and admit to themselves that their positions on the issues you mention simply are not popular with the American people and it is time for them to adjust back to a more centrist position on those issues if they wish to be competitive on a national basis.

Not to add insult to injury but the email dumps showed the Clinton camp was manipulating things to try and get trump the nomination thinking it would be an easy victory.

Talk about your chickens coming home to roost.

I am curious if Sanders would take a position in Trumps administration if offered.

I don't often agree with you but you are spot on with this thread. The best hope for the DNC was left behind at the primaries along with a lot of democratics faith in their political establishment. If they had only looked at what their voters wanted instead of pushing what they wanted themselves I think the outcome would have been way different today.

I am still trying to digest Hillary's lost, is incredible I mean after all the hoaxes about early voters for Hillary, about how she was the preferred, the media propaganda on her side, the bad reports on Trump, the way the e mail scandal was downplayed.

Can we trust the media and polls from now on, no hell no.

I think the DNC / Clinton also damaged media outlets who decided to push the falsehood instead of the truth. The pollsters, media outlets, surrogates... I dont think the Democrats understand just how much damage they have done.

Worst of all what they did to registered Democrats.

How do you remain with a political party that blatantly lied to your face while taking advantage of certain ethnic segments?

We should keep an eye on the DNC and see if they are going to reform the way they run their primaries.

To be honest it couldn't have been any worse! At least then the race wouldn't have been dogged by email scandals and talk of corruption, it would have forced both side to clarify their positions on every issue rather than just slagging each other off....
